Fruits /veg of all culture, brilliant selection of cold meats and spices, has it all, bit sadly the staff don't believe in manners, ie. please/thanks, not all at helpful when you're looking for a particular item,they don't reply, simply ignore you,like you sint there, the only reason, people come back, so they tell me, is the variety. But out of 100 people who shopped on sane days as I, had sane opinion, lovely store,but let down by cold ,unfriendly and very unhelpful staff. A smile costs nothing,please and thanks go a long way to improve service, but this hasn't changed on any occasion I've visited. Shame the staff don't like serving customers, don't smile or speak, may as well become AI store in that department, but great selection of goods is its only saving grace . Common deceny is a nice touch in ANY business. Thank you”

“I’m one of those shoppers who scrutinise the labels to check what ingredients everything has as well as trying to eat as ‘clean’ as possible. I will shop in 3-4 supermarkets to cut down my weekly expenditure but recently, Aldi is my ‘Go To’ store. I have to say that I am seriously impressed with the quality ( and the price ) of all fresh meats, hams, chicken and fish. I also love that their fresh produce mostly comes from British farms. I am not vegetarian but there is a good selection to choose from if you are. Gluten free produce is also available. I can recommend their Sirloin steaks, Fresh Salmon, Cooked and uncooked Chicken Breasts, Beef ( joint and minced) Wiltshire Ham and their eggs are extra good value. On those items alone, I save between £10-15 per shop. I can also recommend Aldi ice creams/lollies ( special treat days) as they taste just as good as the branded ones but considerably cheaper. It’s a pleasant ‘quick’ shop but I have to admit that I spend a ridiculous amount of time down the ‘Isle of Shame’ Everyone loves a bargain right?!!”

“Lovely staff and good location. Stock does run out easily so it can be disappointing if I'm looking for something on offer or I have a Nectar price in my app but it's sold out.”

“Huge Aldi branch. You can find here almost anything. From food, household items, groceries, pet food, eyeglasses, smartphones. The self-service is great. Many parking spaces available as well. B&M Bargains, Carept shop, Pizza Hutt and a Cafe nearby.”

“Finally a good Lidl store in the area. The Wembley Park store is way too small for the customers it’s got now, a nightmare to shop in. This one is much bigger with very spacious aisles. The self checkout area is also nice and large. So far it all very clean, be nice if the staff could maintain it like that but I’m not expecting that. In this day and age every retail store is way understaffed to be able to keep stores neat and tidy which is a shame. Still, I didn’t expect this store to be this big so that’s a plus. Never going back to the Wembley Park store again. Happy days. Note, I wouldn’t drive to this store though, very very limited spaces with more than half (I think) taken by electric chargers and disabled bays.”

“Not going to lie, needed to use their car park and felt obliged to make a small purchase (Mr. Kiplings lemon cake slices, if you're wondering). Its Lidl. Its like any other Lidl, clean, efficient and with sizable queues at each check out lane, because they are popular!”

“Sainsbury’s Harringay is a large store with plenty of products and a wide variety of choices. The staff are friendly, polite, and always ready to help when you need them. The customer service team is excellent, always smiling and welcoming. I had the chance to meet one of the managers, and he was very kind, professional, and straightforward. He really stood up for us, helped us, and provided solutions to our issues. A big thank you to him and to all the staff. Although the queue was long, it moved quickly because the service was efficient and well organised. Overall, it was a very nice experience, and I would definitely go back again.”

“Excellent pharmacy, always well stocked, clean and tidy. All the members of staff work incredibly hard, they are always smiling and very helpful. A special thank goes to Rachel who is not only working hard, but she goes above and beyond. Recently my daughter was prescribed some antibiotics in an emergency situation and although the pharmacy was basically closing down for the day, Rachel made sure I got the medicines I needed to start the treatment. She acted like it was no big deal, but it meant the world to me! Thank you, you're a true gem!”

“Convenient and centrally located supermarket. Bright, clean and well laid-out (better than when it used to be Budgens). Not the cheapest place to shop but products are reliably good quality; and there's rarely a queue at the self-service checkouts which makes it quick and efficient. One bugbear is that it's only open until 10pm so it's often already closed by the time I realise I want to buy something (cue a sprint to the Tesco petrol station on the road to St Giles, which operates till 11pm!) But apparently I'm in a minority of folk wanting to make purchases at that hour, since I'm seemingly often the sole customer on my 9:50pm visits.”

“Great range of products , always good levels of stock , plenty space at the checkout , polite staff . I go here more often now as the one opposite St Paul’s Cathedral has closed and I like to buy fruit especially and sometimes flowers . I never get disappointed. I find their range of fruit has a large variety and very tasty comparing to other supermarkets .”

“Love Wilko's in Orpington, always a great range of good, sensibly priced products. The staff are always helpful and ready to assist. Will be an absolute shame if Wilko's went the same way as Woolworths and were consigned to history. People, get away from your screens, off line, and save your high street, you'll miss it when it's gone.”
