“Good amount of social distancing and a one in one out system, if there are two of you then you have to wait until two come out. Polite tannoy notice asking people to be quick because of the queue outside. Lovely helpful staff. Was a pleasant experience shopping for essentials at this difficult time”

“Very nice place to find South Indian spices, vegetables and fruits. They sells Mango leaves, Neem leaves and Banana leaves too. We could see variety of Indian foods in frozen zone. Store is very narrow and space is less so it is little different to shop in buzy day.”

“Staff are helpful and polite which makes a nice change. I'd appreciate some variation in the lines carried every now and again but can't complain given the size of the shop. You could actually do a weekly shop in here if forced to but it's best for a quick thing you forgot.”

“Lots of great products & offers. The meal deal is great. I introduced lots of my colleagues to this. The only issue is some of the popular ones are not made enough, and they sell out very quickly. For example the spicey smoked salmon salad is simply amazing but me and my colleges have difficulty in buying it if we go there earlier than 11:30am or later than 13:30.”

“Awesome, fully packed store with reasonable prices. Helpful staff. Can be a bit difficult to navigate if busy as the aisles are a bit narrow but the variety of produce and provisions they have makes up for it. 5*”

“I’ve always had a great experience shopping at Waitrose, and I think it deserves recognition for consistently standing out from other supermarkets. The first thing that strikes me about Waitrose is the atmosphere. The stores are always clean, well-lit, and thoughtfully laid out. There’s a calmness to the shopping experience that makes it feel less stressful and much more enjoyable compared to some busier, cluttered supermarkets. The aisles are wide, clearly organized, and the signage makes it easy to find everything you need. The quality of the products is another huge reason I keep going back. The fresh produce is usually outstanding—fruits and vegetables are vibrant, fresh, and carefully displayed. Their meat, fish, and bakery sections feel a step above, with great options for both everyday meals and special occasions. I particularly appreciate the wide range of organic and responsibly sourced products, which makes it easier to shop with sustainability in mind. Customer service is another area where Waitrose shines. The staff are consistently polite, approachable, and genuinely helpful. I’ve had team members go out of their way to help me locate items or offer recommendations, and it never feels forced—it’s just part of the culture there. Even at the checkouts, whether self-service or with a cashier, the process is smooth and stress-free. Another small but lovely touch is the sense of community and little extras. From free coffee or tea with a MyWaitrose card, to their thoughtful seasonal displays, there’s always something that makes the shopping trip feel a little more special. They also carry some unique and high-quality brands you don’t often see elsewhere, which makes browsing more interesting. Yes, Waitrose can be a bit pricier than some other supermarkets, but for me, the quality and the overall shopping experience make it worth it. It feels like you’re paying not just for the products, but for the reliability, service, and the pleasant environment too. Overall, Waitrose is more than just a supermarket—it’s a place where you actually enjoy the weekly shop. If you value quality, good service, and a relaxing shopping experience, it’s hard to beat.”

“Affordable prices and wide variety Shopping at ASDA Superstore is usually a good experience. The store offers a huge range of products, from groceries and fresh food to clothing, household goods, and electronics — all in one place. Prices are very competitive, and their rollback offers and price matches make it one of the more budget-friendly supermarkets. The store layout is generally easy to navigate, and shelves are well-stocked most of the time. Staff are helpful and approachable, and the self-checkout option makes shopping quicker. The George clothing section is also a nice bonus, offering good quality at reasonable prices. On busy days, the store can get quite crowded, and checkout queues may take a bit longer, but overall, ASDA provides great value for money and convenience.”

“Visited this shop at 03:45am, very friendly staff. Helped me carry my bags to my car. They do fresh crossaints and baugettes 24/7. It is the best of the best shop in the borough. There are not many shops left 24/7 these days. Would reccomend everyone to support them so they can stay open 24/7.”
