“We were researching a riser recliner chair at at Orpington where we met Jon who could not have been more helpful. HSL are made in Yorkshire and come in various sizes from petite to Super Grandee. Most of the chairs will lift up to 25 stones and come in an amazing amount of fabrics including leather. The leather option although lovely costs almost 1/3 more. Jon explained the "fitting" aspect which is very sensible checking on hip width, leg length, height from the floor and 4 other aspects. We were shown probably 100's of fabric, we were offered samples and those they didn't have were posted to us very quickly. We have decided not to buy at the moment but if in the future I would not hesitate to return. The shop is very well appointed and I think there were 3 other lady staff members who were also very helpful. The shop also sells non electric chairs and 3 piece suites which looked very good but we didn't try any as that was not what we wanted. There is a VERY small car park at the rear probably only 3 spaces so if able to walk I would suggest parking elsewhere to save a tight 3+ turn to exit.”

“After reading the excellent reviews, I just had to use this particular Aircon out of curiosity and a need to save time. My expectations were blown out of the highest levels! As a retired motor engineer, I dont tolerate poor standards or being messed around. I would therefore urge any customer to proceed without hesitation of the very highest standards witnessed during my recent visit with my 20yr old Audi.”

“I have had multiple treatments performed by Rowena and I have been so pleased with the results every time! On my most recent visit I had a small amount of lip filler as I wanted a change but was very anxious about overdoing it. Rowena listened to exactly what I wanted and made me feel very comfortable. “I cannot praise this swimming school highly enough! I’ve been using them for both my children. My eldest is very close to finishing her lessons hopefully and she started off as a non swimmer and she is now a confident swimmer who enjoys coming to every lesson. My youngest has just started off and is loving every minute of her sessions. The instructors are professional and cater to each individual needs. My kids love all the instructors and Claire is very quick at responding to any queries or questions parents have. When my partner broke his foot and couldn’t drive my eldest to her lessons - I told Claire about it and she went above and beyond to get my daughter into a different session time in order for her to not miss one lesson. I will definitely be recommending seriously swimming to anyone looking for a swim school. Thanks so much!!”

“It maybe a mini version of a usual H&B store, but, the staff here are so helpful, resourceful having vested interest in the welfare of the customer over just selling anything off the rack. Special thanks to Lesley and Antonina, they have always been nice to my family, given us useful tips, advises and product information. Also on how best we can use our H&B loyalty card and deals to save money. They even sweetly pamper my little one and she loves going to the store for her dose of healthy snacks. As the store is small, I usually order my items online and it quickly gets delivered for pick up from this local store. I have been visiting H&B stores for years, but, when we moved local, I found the service in this store way more personalised, warm and welcoming. Keep up the great work!”
