“My family started using Thames Laundry (Shepperton and Sunbury) for their home collection/return service (laundry/dry cleaning/ironing) about 2 years ago. Initially, we used them in an ad hoc way ...when our washing machine broke down or when we were time/energy poor due to work or illness or when we had a houseful of guests generating extra laundry. The convenience of having home collection and delivery is fabulous and booking it all in online is so straightforward and flexible with all the scheduling options. We now use Thames Laundry each week for ironing bedlinen which is a huge help. Their service is so reliable , great quality and convenient... and they are also really very nice to deal with. Highly recommend.”

“One of the cheapest dorm that I've found, initially for 4 nights stay but i extended for almost a week! Why? first, it's affordable & cheap. second, I'm pretty satisfied with the basics provided in the hostel: decent room & toilets, dining area, cooking space and free simple breakfast!! third, staff are pretty kind. fourth, i felt safe & comfortable inside the room! the location is also pretty close to both New Cross Gate train station & Marquis of Granby bus stop, so yea it's pretty accessible with public transport. there's also small park nearby, and few halal places nearby. it looks pretty meh & somewhat eerie from the outside, but yeah overall the inside of the hostel - are all pretty decent. trust me. to girl travellers, do let them know you need a female dorm else you'll get the mixed dorm ? ps: good for budget traveller, price might be differ and bit higher during weekend/festive/holiday. but still considering the price + hv breakfast, i still consider it's affordable. pss: DO NOT EXPECT EXTRAVAGANT STUFF AS I MENTIONED EARLIER, it's a decent place to stay. will definitely come here again if I'll be looking for a pretty decent place in future!”

“Just had a great experience with surrey hills cleaning. i was recommended this company by a collegue and they never disappointed I was greeted by a giant of a man called John, who was friendly, very outgoing and done an outstanding job of cleaning our carpets and upholstery where’s in the past ive used different company and never felt they had been cleaned properly with various marks and stains still left. john has somehow managed to eradicate all stains and marks and have given the whole place a wow factor I’ll definitely be recommending Surry Hills cleaning to family and friends. “ASR got back to me really quickly regarding my carpets after an early morning text. Cleaned them within a couple of days of enquiry. Although all the stains didn't come out due to the age and condition of the carpet and 10 years of dogs and teenagers (no one could have removed these stains) the whole upper of the house looked so much cleaner and fresher and ready for me to refurbish. Excellent communication throughout and very trustworthy (left in house on his own for duration of job). Would use again and would recommend.”

“When I go to London I have very few "demands" of the hotels I stay at. They need to be within a reasonable walking distance from an Underground station and they need to be clean and relatively quiet. I generally don't spend much time in my rooms, but require them to have a good bed and a good shower. Hotel Moonlight is a no-frills, no extras, no breakfast kind of establishment, and it suited my needs perfectly. A stone's throw from Earl's Court Underground station and a ton of good eateries, the hotel doesn't offer breakfast. Instead they give you a nice map of the area with all the recommended place to eat or drink, and specifically points out good breakfast places. The front desk was always staffed by cheerful people happy to answer questions and help with whatever needed. The room was wonderfully quiet, but some sound was carried through the two room doors almost touching each other at the corner of the hallway. This was nothing to bother me, however. Mainly just hearing the other door closing when the guests were coming or going. My only real complaint was that the shower in the tub has the tiniest bit of glass partition meant to stop the water from drenching the bathroom, but it does no such thing. This resulted in the floor getting pretty wet after each shower, but this of course is more of a problem for the hotel than for the guest, since it's easy enough to dry the water with the towels. Why they don't just install proper sized glass partitions that actually work to save their interior the unnecessary standing water, is beyond me. All in all, I was most pleased with my stay, and would stay at this hotel again.”
