“Charming restaurant less than 5 mins from Surbiton Rail station and opposite Sainsbury’s. The old Post Office building has been repurposed as a restaurant, fitted out in a sustainable way with genuine Turkish designs and materials. My server had a Masters in restaurant design so was knowledgeable and happy to point out some of the features. The coffee was excellent and the Nutella and sea-salt cookie was something I’d never tasted before and had a light and delicate texture. Good access for wheelchairs and my go to coffee stop in Surbiton when on foot or a motorcycle or bicycle with parking right outside the door.”

“Family favourite! We've been coming here for years and the food has always been good. We highly recommend the Lamb Shank Jalfrezi and the Tandoori King Prawn. But all the food is very good. We really appreciate that since the pandemic they haven't raised their prices and the food is still great quality. The service is always very good and thoughtful too. We will always rave about The Agra!”

“I went to this place before my shift finished to order some food and told the boy serving i would be back in 10-15min.It was quiet and The boy was serving on his own at the front (young boy, named Janes, sorry for misspelling). He was giving fast and friendly service and apparently also doing deliveroo orders! He had my food ready by the time i came back and he kept it warm on the side for me. Portioning was great! Nice detail to write “Enjoy” on the lid :)”

“Booked a table last minute at The French Table and they manage to accommodate us for a colleagues birthday , from start to finish everything was merticulous. Great ambiance and the place is not overcrowded with many tables, they have 2 floors but the place is not too big. I asked for extras to be added on our table and in under 30 minutes they delivered. We had personalised menues with colleagues name on it. Everything i asked for, they delivered. Would definately visit again. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a Michelin type of a restaurant. Tasting menus, wine paring, good food, everything is just so done to perfection, the staff are so friendly.”

“Trinca is such a hidden gem! We had an incredible dining experience here! The service was brilliant and so friendly. We thought the prices were reasonable considering it was such an intimate dining experience. We will definitely return as the menu changes monthly.”

“Just stopped on a Friday lunchtime to have some pizzas, they were delicious, on par with pizzas we’ve had in Italy, the best pizza we’ve had so far in surbiton/london! Highly highly reccomend!! The staff were lovely and welcoming; will definitely be returning and telling my friends about it! So lovely!”

“Wow, the most delicious feta mini quiche ever! What a find! So much to choose from beautifully presented sweet and savory produce too. Lovely smiling staff. A wonderful surprise find for morning coffee with "pastries". Good value for money and quick service. We ate in, relaxing at the window bar seating, happily watching the rain! “I’ve visited a few times in the last month, predominantly to grab coffee and work. The staff are always very friendly and last time I visited with my partner, we were given a free pot of Persian tea, which was delicious. The coffee (particularly cappuccino) is excellent, as are the smoothies. The food is very good on the whole, though I would personally prefer the bacon fried or grilled. Would highly recommend popping by for a coffee and breakfast/brunch.”

“Very good quality food and drink. Quickly served. My husband had the chicken kiev with chips and salad whist i had the prawn salad. Both meals were perfect and hot. The kiev still contained the garlic butter, something i never seem able to do and the chips crispy. My salad looked like the photo on the menu barring one thing. The prawns had sauce on them and were not plain as shown. This turned it into one huge prawn cocktail which i didn't mind at all. With a £20 bill i consider this great value for money.”

“Disability accessible. Ground floor entrance. Toilets on the ground floor. Staff welcoming and excellent hosts, they were very attentive and we felt well cared for.. Clean and well organised. The food is fresh, delicious, and has a good portion. We had more than we could manage, and they provided takeaway trays so we could take it home. There are lots of options for vegetarians. They will also tailor your curry to your taste, i.e., add chillies, make it more spicy or hot for you. The best bit was the trays that were provided with the poppadoms. The variety of choices and flavours were really good. Best chutneys and presentation ever. The restaurant is on the main road with bus stops, which is good. They provide takeaways and plenty of seating for cosy small tables or large groups. We went early so and it was not full but it got busier as the evening went on. One thing I like is to listen to is Indian music, which adds to my experience of the culture and atmosphere. However, the music was cheesy pop like Taylor Swift, but it was not distracting. Thank you for the complimentary liquor and chocolates at the end of our meal.”

“Great place for lunch, brunch and wine. Have visited many times for wine and pizza, coffee and cake, and the soups are always excellent. They have a good selection of quality wines to take home. Highly recommend.”

“Delicious food! Nice to order from a China that doesn't use the same old wholesale cheap food. Some of the items, like the grilled dumplings had a unique taste and texture. And crispy beef that's actually crispy! We will be ordering again without doubt.”

In the morning Claire was on duty and the breakfast was really busy, she sorted me out and was so friendly and helpful. A great experience.”
