“This pharmacy went above and beyond to help me. When my medicine was in short supply I called them in a panic and was really stressed but the people on the other side of the line were compassionate and very patient with me. One particular pharmacist with blond hair was extremely kind to me and helped me get ahold of my medicine in the correct dose, even when my gp service forgot to add my dose to my prescription. When the gp fixed the issue and I got my electronic prescription, I called the pharmacy three minutes before closing in a panic to see if I could check if my prescription was all ok for my to get my next time I came in. I was on my last two doses of my medication and couldn’t afford a long wait time if I had to come in on a different day to put in the prescription only to find out something was wrong with it. So I was severely anxious. I honestly didn’t expect them to be so kind as to run my prescription’s electronic code very quickly for me even though they were about to close, just so I would be worried and stressed while waiting for my next day off to get my medicine. I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone in this pharmacy for making this experience so positive, for all you did to help me get my medicine during this time of low supply and for being so kind to me. :)”

“I always avoided this Boots as there are fer less products (cosmetics) compared to the one at Canada Square and the staff was always too relaxed and dismissive. But I have to say THANK YOU to Fiz, one of the staff members there. He has helped me in at least three separate occasions: once with a refund, another time with a product change and another time with advice ordering the product I was looking for (its was out of stock for several days in a few shops). He deserves to be praised for his hard work and I’m sure grateful for him being there.”

“Five star service for my pedicures with Bailey. She does my (difficult) pedicures and makes a very good job considering I have an immune disorder and peeling nails, and damaged toes. She makes my feet look not only normal, but very pretty and people compliment me on my gels. She has done many treatments but I always feel she takes as much care with a regular client as she would new business (which doesn't happen at other salons). I think it is because this is a family owned and run business (owner and daughters). I once overslept as my alarm didn't go off and missed my appt, I felt so bad, but not once did I get any grumpiness, they just said it was OK and rebooked me as if it was no problem. They're intelligent people as well and really understand the business so you feel completely safe with treatments even if you have allergies or other medical problems. You can't say that about many beauticians; elsewhere, I'd discuss certain skin or immune problems and get a vacant stare like I'm talking beyond any comprehension which put me off. I'm looking forward to trying out the hairdressing here too after being let down by another local Hairdressers. I've seen the results of some really interesting hair colours, in new pastels shades and some great crops on women from the resident hairdresser at the Laurels on all ages. One was a blue-Violet grey tonal dye on long hair. The most I get elsewhere has been standard blonde highlights but I've always wanted Emo, punk or rock chick hair but at my age (mid 50s) I usually end up with the same straight looking shoulder length "older person's" haircut like the World has given up on me, and I've lost the ability to be visible. I don't think the Laurels have that attitude, the owner looks so amazing, I won't tell you her age as that's rude but you wouldn't believe it, it's a good ad for their business. If anyone is going to understand my wanting to still have fun with my hair in my middle aged years they will. I'll leave another review when I've had it done at The Laurels.”
