“I very recently attended a five day Microcementing course with Andy. I had researched and spoken to a number of other courses all of which I found were uninterested in me but just wanted me to purchase the products they were pushing, the majority of courses out there are less than three days. Andy’s course was 5 days and it was very very good. We completed so much detailed work, not only in Microcementing but in other products and finishes too which only added to my skillset and understanding of the materials. Andy’s knowledge and teaching techniques are second to none and I genuinely feel it was a game changer having completed the five day course with him. Beware of other, shorter cowboy courses advertised with other companies. If you want a professional full to the brim hands on course this is for you!! Andy’s after course assistance is also fantastic, I speak with him regularly about jobs and he gives me advice and tips to help the process run smoothly, when you buy into his course you get the link with Andy forever and thats what is key to enable future works to go smoothly!! He is not pushy with his products and his Microcement however his products and Microcement is the best out there and excellent value for money. His advice, skillset and knowledge is genuinely the difference between his courses and others out there. He’s great crack too !!”

“I had the most amazing stay here for my birthday. The hotel was unique with stunning decor - highly unusual but brilliant. The hotel had made every effort to recognise the occasion - the room was aptly decorated with balloons and a handwritten message on the mirror. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice - a lovely buffet selection. My dietary needs were catered for (gluten/dairy free). The hotel is situated in Islington - a very short walk to the canal. A morning walk along the canal to Canary Wharf and back along the Thames Path was the best start to the day! There are some beautiful spots along the canal to stop for a coffee or bite to eat - these are within a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel - it made a really nice change to stay somewhere a little different/unique.”

“Location was amazing for us, the view couldn't be better(1 bedroom apartment for 4 people). Clean, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds all great. Would be nice to have some oil for cooking additionally to salt and paper, but not a problem to buy It was nice to have a washing machine, my preference though would be to replace it with a dishwasher (but there are so many food options around that we were eating somewhere else mostly)”

The temperature of the studio was great. The apartment was a little cool, so I sued the electric heater and it was great. The apartment I stayed had a full kitchen and washing machine and dish washer, which were super useful.”

The steak was tender, juicy, and cooked exactly as we ordered, with that signature Flat Iron flavour that never disappoints. The green chilli beef burger was a real highlight packed with bold, spicy flavours that added a nice kick without being overwhelming. A really nice touch was the complimentary freshly made popcorn served when we arrived, and the free vanilla ice cream cone at the end such a thoughtful way to round off the meal! The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout. Service was quick, and the overall vibe was relaxed, which made it perfect for a family lunch. We’ll definitely be coming back, value for money..Highly recommend.”
