“I have been using Active Pet for the last 4 years both with my Labrador Retriever and Coonhound Cross, both of whom have had complex joint issues. Phillipa has been amazing and has made a huge positive impact on their quality of life in their later years. They are always happy to arrive and trot in for what we refer to as ‘spa day’. I would highly recommend her. Treatments have included hydrotherapy and laser therapy and a little incentivised homework of course.”

“I’ve just had Mobile Pet Vaccination Service Ltd at my home to medicate my 3 small Bichon’s. Rosi and Galina were on time, smart, brought everything needed and the dogs loved them. No shivering anxious waiting in a vet clinic. They were cuddled, vaccinated and went off to play straight after. Highly recommended and they cover a wide area. (I asked as I’m moving from near Harrow out to beyond Wokingham.). They also can prescriptions for regular worming, tick/flea meds and these are now easily dispensed over the internet. I’m very impressed and will be continuing to use their services. (They also advise and carry out travel vaccines for your cats and dogs.)”

“We are first time dog owners and quite nervous about getting it all right - we found Grant through a Google search and he’s been fantastic. Given us a lot of his time (without charge) getting to know our dog and inviting me on a walk with other dogs in his care. He’s now doing regular training sessions and has made a huge difference in our dog’s behaviour. Actively encourages regular updates and videos so he can fine tune what he’s taught us. An absolute gent too. Can’t recommend more highly!”

“Karolina is attentive, caring and most of all treats our dog as if her own. We have a lil boy that’s full of attitude and generally takes a while to warm up to people. It only took them 2 walks before they were inseparable friends. Our dog gets super excited to go for walks with Karolina and his other furry friends. We could not recommend Karolina enough. She really cares about all the dogs, and ensures the personalities fit each other by scheduling them on specific days.”

“Absolutely wonderful service from Dog in Black for a number of years now. My Labrador Ted has been walked by them 3-4 times a week for at the last two-three years. The carers over that time have always been fantastic, very communicative and clearly experienced and dog lovers in general. For anyone interested in more of the details, for the standing arrangements where your pup is walked 3-4 times a week on similar/the same days they aim to have the same carer do all of their walks. Its a great setup which means that my dog builds a great relationship/bond with the walkers. Special shoutout to Becky, Alana, Louise and Madika who have all at various times been Teds primary walker and have always done an amazing job. They send you lovely updates after the walk every day, and when you're having a bad day in the office its always nice to get a few pictures/videos of your dog out there living his best life. They have always been very flexible and quick to respond on the administrative side and I really have nothing but good things to say about them. Thanks to all of the team and I look forward to many more years of one seriously happy and tired Labrador when I get in from the office.”

We tried taking him somewhere else for a few months due to logistical issues but have since realised that she is worth travelling to as she does a much better job and makes our nervous dog feel safe. “We had gone in for a scan to see if our dog had pups and found out with 5 mins of being there aswell as we had trouble getting to the address because of traffic but the person who was in charge of the scan was extremely understanding for us being so late. Very highly recommended.”

“A very clean and accommodating hotel. Prime location. Absolutely centrally located to many of the city's attractions. Within walking distance or in some cases a 30 minute taxi ride or less to very popular areas of the city. The bar at Primo is well maintained, modern and impeccably clean. The bartender there the night we were there was a true professional. His name was Denis, and so far on our trip, he has been our favorite bartender with no close second. Drinks were spot on. He has a great personality and a great sense of humor. Bravo Park Plaza, you have gem on your hands in Denis.”

“Sadly had to have our kitten put to sleep due to a brain disorder meaning he couldn't stand, walk, wasn't eating or drinking and messing on himself. Lady vet we had couldn't have been kinder. Explaining that he probably had more wrong with his brain than we knew of. She treated Archie with kindness and was really patient with us where we were upset. She helped make a really hard moment that much easier”

Gina was professional and took excellent care of our little Sami (cat) by visiting once a day for a week for feeds and managing his litter! I felt more at ease knowing Gina was there to support us as it is never nice leaving your pets when you go abroad. When we arrived home Sami was very happy and chatting away to us obviously telling us how well he had been looked after.... lots of kisses and cuddle!!!! I would highly recommend Gina. “I can honestly say that our fur babueschad the time of thrte life with Ronnie and all the other dogs and pups!! I was in hospital for over 2 weeks and Ronnie kindly fitted them in . She came to our house red them, let out into our garden firca play, then walked them to her house to make nea friends, which they did! “Interesting polarisation of past reviews but I have to take as I find. I was only looking for advice and was upfront about the reason when I popped by. The shop manager was extremely helpful and spent a good 20-25 minutes taking me through all the complications of raw dog food. As a new owner I had some pretty dumb questions but I didnt get the sense at anytime that I had outstayed my welcome. The Owner clearly had a depth of experience (with dogs at least) and was happy to guide me. I would be surprised if you get that level of service in Pets at Home etc but it is a relatively small shop, heavily stocked so if room to push your shopping trolley is a priority, its possibly not the shop for you?”

“Had a Covid Moderna Booster jab here, and the appointment was fast and on time, and the staff were professional. No walk in service so the appointments were scheduled and efficient. Would recommend for this - but unfortunately haven't used the Pharmacy for anything else so can't comment on the day to day running”
