    Surrey Swim School

    ★★★★☆ 4.7
    Open

“We are absolutely thrilled with the swimming lessons our child has received at Surrey Swim School. Our child has been attending for several years now, and the progress has been remarkable. Before joining Surrey Swim School, she attended several other schools, but none of them were consistent in terms of coaches, class sizes, teaching style, and progression. Since moving to Surrey Swim School, the improvement has been consistent and impressive. The class sizes are always kept small, never more than 5 pupils, which ensures that each child gets the attention they need. The continuous assessment and movement up the grades have kept our child motivated and excited about swimming. Joe and his team do a fantastic job. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for the children's progress are evident in every lesson. We truly love going swimming every week and seeing our child's confidence and skills grow. Thank you, Surrey Swim School, for providing such an excellent environment for our child to thrive in!”

    Next Level Swimming Academy

    ★★★★☆ 4.7
    Open

“We moved to Next Level last year after spending 9 years at another academy, and honestly, my daughter has made more progress in the last 6 months here than in the previous 3 years elsewhere. This is entirely thanks to the incredible teaching staff. From day one, Nikki has been amazing—assessing my daughter, guiding us to the right class, and helping us choose the best swimming activities (and they have plenty!). The late evening classes are brilliant—no traffic, no rushing around. The water polo camp was a real highlight—well organised, affordable, and so much fun for the kids. My daughter learned new skills, made friends, and couldn’t wait to go back each day. One thing that really stands out is how attentive the teachers are. They watch the kids constantly, guide them, and truly listen to them. My daughter absolutely loves going, leaves every lesson with a big smile, and can’t wait to tell me what she’s learned. Parents can also watch the classes, and the teachers are always approachable if you need to speak to them. Communication is excellent—you receive detailed progress reports, but you can also just have a friendly chat with the staff. They are incredibly encouraging and supportive of the kids. Honestly, it’s wonderful and refreshing to see such dedication. Thank you so much and see you soon! Leah & Ira x”

    Black Park Country Park

    ★★★★☆ 4.7
    Open

“I visited Black Country Park this past Sunday morning to try the Go Ape Treetop Challenge, and it completely exceeded my expectations. My young cousin and I had an amazing time navigating the treetop obstacles, ziplines, and rope courses. The layout provided just the right balance of challenge and fun for all skill levels. I’d especially like to thank Abdul, our instructor, for his excellent guidance. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure we understood all safety procedures clearly. His supportive presence throughout the course gave us extra confidence to push ourselves. While £85 for two people may seem steep at first glance, the experience was absolutely worth it. The park itself is beautifully maintained, with peaceful woodland surroundings that make you forget you’re still in London. My cousin hasn’t stopped talking about our adventure, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend Go Ape to anyone looking for an exciting outdoor activity. It’s perfect for families, friends, or even team-building outings. Tip: Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and book ahead as sessions tend to sell out quickly!”

“We attended the BSUPA Level 1 Paddleboard course. Our instructor was calm, understanding and inspired confidence. He was also incredibly knowledgeable. We felt safe and confident with him. Good solid advice on bouancy aids, and equipment followed up with excellent advice on how to use it. On the water we learned how to paddle laying down, then kneeling and finally we ALL got up. None of us fell in. We paddled a little and then it was time to deliberately fall in so we could practice getting back on....Again, everyone managed to get back on!! This is a sign of great coaching! More paddling and practicing on/off, maneuvers and steering..and then we were taught stepback turns, and encouraged to get further and further back on the board. We went from nervous shaky wobbly beginners to confident paddlers twirling on the spot with stepback turns....again ALL of us were doing this! Incredible! If you want to learn Paddleboarding, get down there now, you wont regret it. Best money I have spent! Thank you HYMB!!”

Only issue I had recently was on two occasions while I was running around the park, someone walking towards me looked up and purposely walked into my direct path. Unsure why this happened or what is wrong with people.”

“Loved the last show. I helped out on the door as a volunteer as well as final pack up, and got to see everything from start to finish. I have to say Diane does an amazing job, it’s so well organised. From the branding, advertising on social media, to our briefing and T-shirts, to knowing who is responsible for what, where and when. The work and people were fun but expect to stand a lot, so flat shoes are recommended! We had time to look around as volunteers too. I enjoyed a massage, tarot reading and of course lots of delicious food. The talks and entertainment were great, something for everyone. Well worth volunteering to see all this - you need the weekend really!”

Decided to make the most of it and enjoy the rides. Took some really lovely Halloween photos of my girls lots of perfect back drops and props available throughout the park Staff were lovely especially the man on the train ride. Staff on both coffee stations were friendly and my daughter's both enjoyed a delicious custom made hot chocolates in after eight and unicorn. Animals looked happy and with plenty of space to roam around. It was lovely to see the pig foraging for plants and eating on the grass. Two lovely carousels, a rollercoaster and several other rides plus the staff make this place a really fun day out for all the family We will return”

“Fantastic place for taking your toddler to. The place is not very big but it is very lively, fun and free . We got there before 10 and because there was no ticket guy at the car park yet we parked for free , so get there early to avoid paying parking as there is no parking machine, just a guy selling tickets. Make sure you get a towel and some spare clothes for your toddler as they will play in the splash area and get wet. Our 2,5 year old absolutely loved it and we struggled to drag him away from the splash area. The other play areas are nice too and not very expensive. Park is huge and not much to see but it's a nice breath of fresh air. I saw some people fishing as well so that might be a good idea for the future. Overall , very lovely Sunday out with our lovely boy”
