“Great outdoor lake for a swim complete with ducks and wild landscape. You need to book online in advance and wear clothes easy to change into outdoor in the open on the shore before/after. Would be great if there were open outdoor cold water shower to rinse off afterwards as you do get a bit of pond weeds stick to you; hopefully something that can be added soon.”

“Nice gym & pool for affordable prices. Upon purchasing a membership, you receive a tour of the facilities and the membership card grants easy access. Opening hours are very flexible for all students & workers and personal trainers on-call for assistance.”

“Lovely park with so much to do and a variety of areas to enjoy and explore. Excellent playground for all ages and a cafe too. Wildlife is very tame, with ducks and geese walking in step with people and the squirrels will come so close as to crawl up your leg!”

“A lovely park not too far from beckenham High Street. We went to see the restored bandstand (Bowies bandstand!). It is an incredible restoration job, and it is so nice to see the paving around includes bricks in memory of someone or just for loved ones. This park is also the place where the first airmail service started - 1902 I think! As others say, it would be good to have better toilet facilities, and a coffee kiosk would be good.”
