“Disability accessible. Ground floor entrance. Toilets on the ground floor. Staff welcoming and excellent hosts, they were very attentive and we felt well cared for.. Clean and well organised. The food is fresh, delicious, and has a good portion. We had more than we could manage, and they provided takeaway trays so we could take it home. There are lots of options for vegetarians. They will also tailor your curry to your taste, i.e., add chillies, make it more spicy or hot for you. The best bit was the trays that were provided with the poppadoms. The variety of choices and flavours were really good. Best chutneys and presentation ever. The restaurant is on the main road with bus stops, which is good. They provide takeaways and plenty of seating for cosy small tables or large groups. We went early so and it was not full but it got busier as the evening went on. One thing I like is to listen to is Indian music, which adds to my experience of the culture and atmosphere. However, the music was cheesy pop like Taylor Swift, but it was not distracting. Thank you for the complimentary liquor and chocolates at the end of our meal.”

“Used to come here occasionally as a child growing up in the 70s/80s. Moved back to Surbiton with my own family several years ago and was so happy to see they were still going strong. Have been coming here ever since. Dishes taste fantastic, quality is consistent, prices are very reasonable, preparation is fast and staff are friendly. Tried other Chinese takeaways in the area but none of them come close. A real jewel. Bravo, guys.”

““I had the absolute pleasure of trying the Persian pizza at Village Pizza in Surbiton, and it was truly outstanding. This pizza took me straight back home with its nostalgic flavors and that special touch that only authentic Persian-style pizza can bring. The service was equally fantastic—especially the lady behind the counter, who I believe is the owner. She made the whole experience warm and welcoming. “What a wonderful little restaurant! Despite having very high expectations due to all the great reviews, my family and I were still surprised at how great this place was. The sashimi pieces were lovely and thick, their signature rolls were delicious but our favourite was the udon (unfortunately not pictured as we were too busy slurping it up!)- the noodles were cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend this place for the delicious food and the lovely attentive staff!”

“All I can say is bellisima!! I have been wanting to try The Roasting for quite sometime. It is definitely worth the wait. The coffee was great and the pistachio croissant was absolutely fabulous. It’s one of the nicest pastries I had. The prices were also decent and affordable. Service is also great. The guy helped me to choose pastries by giving me an idea of what each of them were and he also gave me a drink recommendation. I will definitely come back to try the other stuff.”

“I ordered a bottle of dream chaser on Alcohol Ninja's web site not realising it was in London. A gentleman rang me and said he would try to get a courier for me instead of refunding my money. A lot of couriers he said did not transport alcohol. They found a courier and sent it to me. This was a present for my Daughter for Xmas. I received the bottle and I cannot thank them enough for going over and above for me. Great experience.”

“This was my first ever proper Chinese meal due to being. Coeliac but I felt immediately at ease. When first sitting down we were asked if anyone had any allergies and I was given the gluten free menu. There was so much choice our group got everything gluten free so I could try a variety of dishes. When the sauces were brought out we were immediately told that they were gluten free which was a nice touch. My group told me that it tasted like normal Chinese which made me extra happy as this is a cuisine that had previously been inaccessible to me until visiting here. Will be visiting here again.”

“I have been coming here every Thursday for 18 years!! It started off as a treat when I was 11 after dance class and now has become a tradition. Seriously good quality fish n chips and goes nicely with a glass of wine. Don't listen to the 1* peasants below. They are what we call 'Karens' these days!”
