“I got as far as the door before finding dogs weren't allowed. It appeared to be the first time someone has asked - as the staff stared silently at each other before telepathically deducing that the answer was no. Anyway, my wing man ordered the coffees which were of good quality and supplied in a timely fashion. Sadly, I was only able to get a picture of the inside through the closed door, but it looked nice, cosy and clean inside. Outside seating has been created in an imaginative and optimistic way...which makes it difficult to get a picture of the place without including an industrial bin!”

“Finally managed to go and visit this newly opened Starbucks restaurant. I love to start my day with a strong extra hot cappuccino and this didn’t disappoint! I like their new coffee selection so much, but what I like more so is the barista team here at uxbridge road. They are all very friendly and accommodating with any requests. I have noticed the way they deal with people is just that bit nicer than other local coffee shops, and it all makes a difference. Thank you Starbucks for employing a wonderful team at your new restaurant. By the way I love your new outdoor seating designs with a lawn, can’t wait to use it in the summer!”

“I used to come here every sunday night after training with the group of friends before covid and a series of lockdowns. These friends knew this pub and the landlord for many-many years. Lockdown has bloody killed this pub, unfortunatly. I was in the area and poped to this place to check ot out. I am glad that I found it open again and fully functioning under new ownership. But this once fully packed place was absolutely empty, only staff and the owner. I want and I wish this place be busy and brimming with people and life again as it once was. Wishing lots of luck to the staff and its new owner.”

The building is historic and the interior is cosy and welcoming, making it the perfect local spot for any day of the week. ​The food is excellent pub grub; I highly recommend their phenomenal Sunday Roast. “Lovely new menu. I am vegetarian with a nut allergy. The menu had lots of vegetarian choices that is nut free. Service was great, We went for lunch and it was a little quiet. But a great place for lunch to have a lovely catch with friends without being disturbed. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. There is a great lunch time menu, as well as a set menu and a full dinner menu”

“Best vegetarian/vegan place in the area as other places you'll pay loads more and this is really good food for an all you can eat buffet fully vegetarian/vegan just around the corner from Shepard's Bush station. Great value for what ofcourse not the best quality food but is still very nice for what you pay. Cheap and cheerful no frills. It's cash only but there is a free ATM just 1 minute walk down the street.”

“this is for a collection order. To be honest I don't eat pizza very often but some clever marketing from Dominos had left a memory of an Indian flavor "Gunpowder Chicken" pizza in my mind so I decided to go for it- and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED :). The flavors are mildly Indian, not overpowering and while it's spicy with Jalapenos; I took most of them off to reduce the kick and it worked great. I also got 4 wings and they hit the spot. To top it off the order was ready within 10-12 mins which is impressive- about the exact time it took me to drive to the location. Dominos is not gourmet pizza and it does not pretend to be, but for a quick fix (literally)- I don't think any local Italian restaurant could rustle you up an authentic pizza so for convenience and a 'something different' taste, the experience was top notch. My only suggestion is offering customers a choice of sauces for wings as the red hot sauce was too tangy for me- I would have loved a Ranch dip instead.”

“They actually messed up my take away order by forgetting one item but they were quick to deliver it and apologised profusely. The standard here is higher than the average take away, for example the house special ‘hor fun’ rice noodles are fresh (and not of the dry variety) and the mixture of meats are decent - king prawns, beef, chicken, char siu. Will certainly order again from here in future. I see they have dim sum on the menu too…”
