“We ordered takeaway from Uber eats and it was so good. I ordered the Clam and King prawn stewed with vermicelli and a side portion of rice. At first I was unsure because of the price but the portion was very generous and I think enough for two. I also asked for it spicy and they definitely delivered. The broth was spicy with lots of chilli, very garlicky and perfectly seafoody and umami. The seafood tasted really fresh and the large prawns were deveined and cleaned properly. I also ordered sweet tofu dessert but as they were out of stock the owner called me and offered mango sago dessert instead, which was perfectly sweet and lots of fresh mango pieces in there, it was great! Perfect after the spicy soup. We would definitely order from Chopstick Chinese Kitchen again.”

“I was here on business and overall my stay was very good. It is easy to find, although as I was in a vehicle I had to parkin the adjacent car park which, using the Hotels website's description, was a little confusing but maybe that was just me and next time it will be a whole lot easier. You ask for a ticket with a QR code and then when you go back to the car park to pay, in the morning, you scan the QR code and it reduces the price to £6, which, for London. I thought was a very good price. You enter at the rear of the hotel and slightly weirdly you enter a lobby, go to the lifts at the back and get the lift up to reception. At night you have to scan your room card to enter the lobby but not evening and when I came back there was somebody just sitting on the floor. The reception was great and booking in went smoothly. I went to my second floor room which overlooked the shopping square, which after 1700hrs was fairly quiet and caused no problems. The room was excellent, clean, tidy and exactly as you would expect, with only one slight negative... the toilet needed bleaching or a thorough clean, you could still bad discolouration. There is no loss of star rating as the room was still excellent. After a good sleep I went for breakfast which was adequate, no great complaints other than there is always a coffee machine but Travelodge allows only hot water to be dispensed, which is just a bit mean, considering I paid nearly £11 for it.”

“Came in yesterday 10/4/22 to ask for boxes as I’m moving property and the managers had no issue with that and said he will hold them for me I came back in store in the evening to collect them and (different manager) they was ready as promised it was a lovely encounter especially since I had received abused from co op staff in regards to boxes ( I have also left a review on their Google review ) absolutely disgusting service from Co op staff ! “I visited yesterday early afternoon and had a bit of a medical crisis and I passed out and hit my head in the first isle on the fridge… initially a fellow costumer heard it and screamed for security as I was still out. I came through quite quick which at that point the lady had already had an elderly man come over as well in which they both asked me if I needed anything and I said anything with High sugar like a coke in which the older gentleman went and got for me. Staff from the store and Asian man (sorry didn’t catch his name) came over and checked on me multiple times in which after like the fourth time he asked me if I would like to go to there office and sit on one of the chairs as I was still on the floor. They looked after me well and didn’t make the situation awkward at all. Even after I felt better and went to continue my shopping a lady that works there even offered to hold my basket for me in which I politely declined cause they had already done enough. I wish I knew how to contact Tesco head office to inform them of the amazing service and way this team treated me yesterday. Sorry I didn’t say it at the moment as I was still a bit dizzy/confused but thank you all for your help.”

“A review for the opticians. Have been using for the last 8 years or so and went recently for eye test and was picked up an issue with my eye. Was very thorough and managed to get a appointment at St Peters eye section the following day. The attention given by her (didnt get her name) at the eye test was fantastic amd thorough. A credit to Asda.”

“This hospital holds lots of memories for me my son was cared for whilst going thru treatment for cancer. Although he fought it for 5 yrs he lost the battle, but staff were so lovely to him it made a big difference. I'm going thru similar problems + the staff are amazing can't credit them enough”

“Generally excellent service from the pharmacy, whose staff have a heads up attitude. For example, today I was told that my prescription was still being processed and I would have to return later. However, another staff member called Lanja overheard and said she had just dealt with my prescription. “Following the closure of tilbury to gravesend ferry, we had to find an alternative route to transfer our cyclists on a CyCool London to Paris tour. Tilbury taxis were so helpful and provided 3 x 8 seater vehicles with lovely drivers. Communication was really good, the drivers arrived on time and were very personable and patient whilst we loaded the bike trailer before taking them to gravesend. Fantastic service at a competitive price. Will use on every cycling holiday now. Thank you so much.”

The quality of the produce is generally very good, and the prices are better than what you’d find at larger supermarkets. The store can get quite busy, but the staff are helpful and the checkout process is usually smooth. It’s not a fancy store, but it does exactly what you need it to — affordable, authentic groceries in the heart of Southall. Definitely worth a visit if you’re doing a proper desi food shop.”

“Stumbled across this shop, whilst staying overnight nearby in London. A good shop with pretty much all you could need at good prices and well stocked. Lots of fresh items available even though quite late in the evening and a bank holiday weekend. None of the usual hiked prices you get in most places throughout London. Friendly,helpful staff.”
