“This company proved a dream to deal with. Old fashioned values of customer service which is rare these days. Communication was excellent and a minor problem (not of their doing) was promptly and efficiently rectified. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they go the extra mile to make the customer satisfied and happy. Emails were responded to immediately, delivery was prompt and their products are of high quality and very competitively priced. We would highly recommend them and deal with then in in the future.”

“Located within the former Grade II Listed Library building leading onto an attractive garden. Contemporary minimalist interior that succeeds in being attractive, welcoming and unpretentious. Albeit a limited menu (vegan options) the quality, price and the service, WAY surpassed expectations. The coffee exemplary. Also a nuanced range of gifts, cards and miscellanea. Happenstance on the periphery of London. Readily recommended.”

“From a subjective standpoint, I have discerning tastes when it comes to food, however, this establishment has significantly impressed me with the exceptional taste and freshness of its offerings. The staff members are exceedingly courteous and provide excellent service. Although my original intent did not involve dining here, I was in the vicinity picking up parts from Mazda and Dealer. I happened upon this invitingly named restaurant across the street, prompting me to seize the opportunity to sample their cuisine. The experience was truly remarkable.”

“Family owned since 1988? You can tell, as they are so rightly proud of this well run cafe. Clean and plentiful seating (40+ seats), with clean toilet for patrons. Wide-ranging menu. Ordered the ‘set 4’ breakfast, and which was served piping hot and was absolutely delicious! Had more breakfasts that I can count at cafes and this was one of the best. Staff welcoming and friendly and engage in conversation readily. Will be sure to visit again next time I’m in North Finchley.”

“This is a wonderful boutique hotel with great staff. Each room is named after, and decorated in the style of a famous person. The room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were amazing and put up with our late departure from the room each day. The hotel is very conveniently located with bus stops feet from the door. Our daily trips to the tourist attractions were never more than a bus ride away. Would highly recommend without any reservations on our end.”

“My child has been attending this nursery for just over 2 years and has moved from the baby room all the way up to preschool. The nursery space is well organized giving kids enough room to have different activities and is much roomier than other nurseries I’ve seen. The menu has enough variety to allow kids to get used to different cuisines. Most importantly, the staff that work here really love their jobs and genuinely care for the kids. They have taken on board any special request I have had from bottle feeding changes, dropping a dummy all the way to massively contributing to successful potty training. Its always a worry when leaving your child somewhere and as a parent you can always find something to worry about but I honestly get the impression they have my child’s best interests at heart always, for me, irrespective of how well the nursery is run it’s the people that make this place feel like an extended family and gives me the confidence that this is the best place for my child. We have also worked closely with the SEN co-ordinator who has been fantastic at making sure my child was referred where needed and gets the support required. I would highly recommend this nursery.”

“Barnet Cafe is a true hidden gem! This lovely, family-run cafe has won my heart over with its warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious offerings. I first discovered this charming spot in 2020, and it has since become my regular haunt, a testament to its consistent excellence. One of the standout features of Barnet Cafe is the generosity they bring to every plate. The portions are not only generous but also incredibly affordable, making it an ideal choice for both budget-conscious diners and those seeking hearty, satisfying meals. My personal favourite is their mouthwatering steak, a dish that I find myself coming back for time and time again. The quality and flavour are consistently top-notch, and they're cooked to perfection every single time. The fact that they have a kids' menu that's equally impressive is a huge bonus for families. It's wonderful to see a place that caters to all ages. Beyond the fantastic food, the staff at Barnet Cafe truly make you feel like part of the family. Their warm hospitality and attentive service make every visit a memorable one. The cosy ambience adds to the overall experience, making it a perfect setting for any occasion. Barnet Cafe is more than just a cafe; it's a home away from home. If you're in search of a place where you can enjoy a delectable meal, bond with your loved ones, and not break the bank, look no further. It's no wonder it has become my regular spot, and I have a feeling it will continue to be for years to come. PS... I can't believe I never reviewed this amazing cafe all these years, and the photos I'm using are from my first few visits since I just focus more on enjoying my meals these days. Yeah, I'm adventurous with foods, but the steak is just muaaaah!!!”
