“We had an amazing stay at this beautiful 5-bedroom house in South East London! The property is stunning, with gorgeous decor throughout. The large garden and hot tub were definite highlights – the hot tub was especially amazing and perfect for relaxing. The kitchen facilities were top-notch, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. The hosts were incredibly helpful when we encountered a small issue with the gate and quickly resolved it, ensuring our stay was seamless. We highly recommend Grace’s home to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and well-equipped place to stay. We’ll definitely be back!”
“What an amazing place to find from a bike ride in Epping Forest. The owner has won so many awards for her food, and you can taste why!”
“Really loved the service and my nails. Rezia was so calm and listened to what exactly I wanted. Even when it took a while to pick a specific shade of blue. She made sure that I was happy each step of the way. I am getting so many compliments on my nails and love showing them off to my friends.”
“Cafe run by charity Mencap - fantastic initiative to give people with learning disabilities the chance to learn skills in catering, customer services and hospitality. I have never eaten there but just had a quick coffee / kids snacks - it doesn't feel that warm and cosy to me, so I've never been tempted to linger too long. My suggestion would be to remove the PCs and introduce some sofas and perhaps some toys or games. Not sure how feasible that would be!”
“Simply Stunning!! Valentines afternoon tea for all the family, we visited as a family age range 3y-68y and there was something for everyone. The food was fresh and extremely tasty, the venue itself was beautiful so special and has perfect photo opportunities and the service was outstanding it felt very personal with lots of extra special touches. I can 100% recommend and will be back to visit again. Jade”
“The New waitress was amazing today. It was her first Day and she did everything perfectly. Congratulations for the Hard work!”
“I have known Richard for many years now and have been his customer. The atmosphere is very friendly, he is a lovely guy and the food is fantastic! Highly recommend it.”
“I really enjoyed my takeaway breakfast from this cafe this morning. I love the tin tomatoes in a breakfast it's so tasty and not many cafes do the tin ones.will definitely order from here again.”
“Excellent customer service. Cashier was very friendly, patient and helpful in helping us find what we were looking for.”
“I got Veggie meal #3 and added a fried slice and hash browns. So so tasty. Really hot food. And bubble and squeak?? Yum!”
“Stopped by here for breakfast with my Fiancé, we loved it so much we're looking to hire a section out for a wedding breakfast. As you enter, your senses are greeted by a warm coffee aroma. We were warmly greeted by Leonie and shown to a table. We ordered the The Butcher (all english breakfast) and a side of chrozio, you could immediately tell, quality ingredients we're used, it was worth the price! We also ordered 2 rounds of coffee's and coconut latte. We will be back!”
“Great vibe, decent price, great grub. Will be back”
“Amazing service! Super cheap and proper old school cafe x I love it x”
“The overall environment of the hotel is excellent—clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, making the stay truly relaxing. Special thanks to Moin for his outstanding service!!! He has a great attitude, works very diligently, and is extremely nice and professional. He was very helpful throughout the stay and made us feel truly welcomed. Overall, this is a hotel highly worth recommending.”
“5 minute walk from Victoria Station. It is in a quiet residential area with a lovely hot breakfast daily. The room price is high for a very small room BUT the breakfast is high quality and adds so much value. Bathrooms are sparkling clean. There is staff available to get ice or linen. The restaurant is only open for the breakfast but does offer alcoholic drinks at night. Beds were very comfortable but there is literally very little space to walk or stand in the room. The proprietor is independent and should be supported for not joining a hotel chain. I recommend The Windermere”
“We had an amazing experience with this show. The host was great. He was roasting random people from the crowd which was hilarious and they invited people on stage and gave full on lap dance. Some acrobatics and burlesque. Fully recommended.”
“AMAZING staff, so lovely and friendly, we did a fab deal for snacks with a soft drink, popcorn and little sweet/savoury pot for £9! We went to see Sinners on a Monday at 2pm and were the only people in the screening, comfy seats and lovely and clean :) Tickets were £14 each, absolutely worth it and would now always choose over a chain cinema!”
“The best place I have ever been for nails and pedicures. I am the sort of person who can ruin even Shellac after 2 days, but not when these guys do it! Alona is the absolute best!!! The place smells gorgeous and the customer service is second to none.”
“the views from the cafe are beautiful and very peaceful! the prices were reasonable and there was plenty of seating so we were able to sit outside and take in the view in the lovely weather! the cake was delicious and service was fast. it is only a short walk from the nearby car park and is close to King Henry's Mound! will definitely be returning. :)”
“Room 407 – An Amazing Stay! Our stay in Room 407 was absolutely wonderful! The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, making it easy to unwind after a long day. A special shout-out to SABINA and DONNA for providing truly exceptional service. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and cared for throughout our stay — friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. Their professionalism and warmth made a huge difference and turned a great stay into an unforgettable one. We’ll definitely be coming back, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and comfort.”
“The Ready Money Drinking Fountain (1875) is Regent's Park's most charming oddity – a whimsical Gothic Revival monument topped with a heron, where both humans and dogs once drank together! Though no longer functional, its intricate carvings (look for the lizard and squirrel details) and historical plaque make it a delightful pitstop near the boating lake. Why it’s special: A rare surviving "double fountain" (separate tiers for people/pets) Donated by philanthropist Sir Cowasjee Jehangir, whose Bombay shipping fortune funded London’s clean water movement Perfect photo op during rose garden visits Tip: Find the hidden inscription: "The gift of Ready Money Cowasjee Jehangir of Bombay." Pair with a stroll to Queen Mary’s Gardens nearby.”
“Great cafe, super friendly, good set menus for fry ups lots of other food options.”
“Lovely little café. The staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely will return.”
“Very satisfied with our stay at the Hub. The hotel was happy to store our bags prior to check in. The room was spotlessly clean & the beds were comfy (though we did request extra pillows). The nighttimes were peaceful & there was a black out blinds on the window. All the staff, including the duty manager & chefs were very friendly & happy to accommodate my partners dietary requirements and the bar/breakfast are was comfortable. The location was very convenient, as was the 12 noon check out time. I would note even the larger of the rooms are on the small side & perhaps more suitable for a single person and I found the way the lighting in the bathroom was connected to the lighting in the room a little odd.”
“Little bit quirky, but of all the hotels I've stayed in this area, this is my favourite by far. The only downside was the breakfast if you are vegetarian/vegan. No non dairy yogurts and the lovely chef had to bake me a couple vegan croissants. No labels on anything so had to guess whether they were vegan or not. Obvs of you don't care then not a problem!!”
“Zin Indian Restaurant is truly a hidden gem in central London. As a first-time visitor, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavors of the food. The chicken tikka masala was absolutely delicious—rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The sauce was just the right balance of tangy and savory, complementing the tender chicken beautifully. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service made the experience even better. For anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine in a welcoming setting, Zin is definitely worth a visit. I’m already looking forward to trying more dishes on the menu.”
“I had black Americano and my wife had cappuccino, we both really enjoyed our drinks a lot. My Americano had that light fruity aftertaste that you often only find with very high quality, it was genuinely very delicious. The interior is relaxing, calm and light and we really appreciate the soft music as well, not at all over the top. I love what this place is going for, as I am new to the area it's nice to find a place nearby that I know I can be comfortable in. The woman serving us on Monday 6th was also very kind.”
“10/10 London caf, sausage and hash brown baguette bought me back to life on a hangover. The service is always rapid and everyone is super friendly, the food is great, portions are brilliant and absolutely insane value for money.”
“Left with a fresh cut and couldn’t be happier — top quality service and incredibly hospitable barbers. Highly recommend!”
“A full English in East London for a tenner in 2024?! Someone pinch me! What a delicious hidden gem in East Ham! Why it was empty at 9:30am is beyond belief, but hey, no complaints from me. Coffee (delicious, I must say) and toast included as well. There's gotta be a catch somewhere, right? I've been back a few times since discovering this place, and the owners have been incredibly polite, with the food spot-on every time. Thank you, Pop-In Cafe!”
