“Possibly the best affordable themed pool in England, almost waterpark size minus the high price. The water temperature was perfectly warm, there were 2 hot tubs and plenty of rides, of which 3 were long. The decor was artistic, featuring model fishes and some rocky landscaping between things. Also there was a wave machine and enough space to swim laps in the 1.5 metres end.”

“Firstly, I'll start by admitting that I'm am a fairly fussy customer. I've used most of the barbers in the local area over the years and can honestly say that Male Designs is hands down the best I've experienced. They keep up to date with the latest styles so my son is always well looked after. They also have loads of experience with the classics. The team are friendly, accommodating and just generally good people. They are happy to give advice and suggestions on products and styles which might work for you without trying to push expensive products upon you. My dad used Male Designs for years and when he was no longer able to get there unaided we stopped by with his wheelchair (we hadn't even booked ahead). The team rearranged the shop and moved one of the big chairs out of the way to allow him access with his wheelchair. They all took the time to speak/laugh and joke with him like they always had, I could see how much that meant to him. Also the best beard barber I've ever visited. If you're looking for a barber, this is the best in the area. Thank you, keep up the great work.”

The service is always warm, the results are flawless, and I leave feeling genuinely pampered. It was here I discovered the cat eye (or “Keti Eye”) gel style, and I’ve been hooked ever since! “I have been visiting M and R barbers for at least 8 years now. Myself and my son have a re-occurring appointment with Raff or one of his skilled barbers. I have found the staff patient and accommodating with regards to my own time keeping and the temperament of my once toddler-aged son. Raff is passionate about his craft and engaging in conversation. I have enjoyed the beverages on offer during my many visits. I find the process almost automated due to the ease of picking a slot on the app and a barber waiting upon our arrival. We have regular haircuts and I have now added a beard trim to the booking. My father-in-law who lives in the north of the country still books in to see Raff during his regular visits(which is a review unto itself) There is always a smile on our faces leaving the barbers due to its relaxing environment and quality haircuts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend M and R barbers to anyone in the Guildford area.”

“I booked an appointment for a weeks time. Availability was great, I could choose any day and time. From arrival I was warmly greeted, Spoilt with Tea and Coffee and biscuits. Amazing team working 3-4 hours on my hair. LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair colour and the cut is great also. Cannot thank them enough for giving me confidence with wearing my hair down again.”

“This is still one of the best places to go if you want a quick but delicious meal. They've recently renovated and added more indoor seating, so it can fit more people now. I'll always be a loyal customer! P.S. I'm not sure if they allow outside drinks, but I always bring coffee when I go because my partner and I don't usually drink soda when we eat out. Luckily, they didn't mind me bringing it in.”
