“Lovely little village pub on outskirts of Epping Forest. Very friendly service, nice atmosphere, Good food, we had two ploughman’s with cheddar, blue cheese and ham which were nice and fresh, two pints of Moretti all for £37 which we thought very reasonable. Good parking, plenty outside seating.”

“Wedding venue We got married at the Bingham Riverhouse in Richmond on the 18th of October and couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day. We chose the winter wedding package, and everything from start to finish was beautifully organised. Laure was absolutely wonderful – calm, patient, and so responsive throughout the whole planning process. She explained everything clearly, gave fantastic advice, and it was lovely to have her there on the day with her calm, kind and reassuring manner. The venue looked stunning, with the room very professionally set up and the riverside location providing a beautiful backdrop. The food was exceptional – so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was and how smoothly the whole day ran. The fire pit, hot chocolate, and mulled wine were the perfect added touches for an autumn wedding. A huge thank you to Laure, Sherry, and the entire team at the Bingham Riverhouse for making our wedding day so special. Everything was flawless, and we’ll remember the day for years to come. “Krishna took great care of us, explained the menu, when needed. Delicious food in a great atmosphere, quite pub like with the football on (Arsenal v Bournemouth!) but sound down, so definitely not intrusive. Would recommend.”

“A very clean and accommodating hotel. Prime location. Absolutely centrally located to many of the city's attractions. Within walking distance or in some cases a 30 minute taxi ride or less to very popular areas of the city. The bar at Primo is well maintained, modern and impeccably clean. The bartender there the night we were there was a true professional. His name was Denis, and so far on our trip, he has been our favorite bartender with no close second. Drinks were spot on. He has a great personality and a great sense of humor. Bravo Park Plaza, you have gem on your hands in Denis.”

“I was there yesterday at a lunch party for my uncle and Aunt’s Diamond Wedding Anniversary. The food and the service was really wonderful and a credit to the Haven. The food was beautifully presented and served hot. The room was elegantly decorated for 25 guests seated at a long table. Nothing was too much for the staff, I was so impressed. With everything thank you so much for making it such a special day.”

“I had had a busy day about in Bromley and arrived early from that to a reservation I'd made that day for early dinner (18:15). Prices were properly reasonable for such fine dining. The presentation of each course was spot on, I'd even say en place, buuuuut not my element at this time. The maître d' was professional and courteous. I felt a bit under-dressed but braved through and they brought no attention to this and treated me. At some spirit auguery advice, my royal self reluctantly avoided steak this evening, going instead from chef's suggestion menu, the seared scallops and then sea bass. The scallops were grilled, and tender rather than rubbery as I sometimes 'expect' of scallop. I'd had some grilled halloumi around lunch tiem, and joked that scallops would be right out to pair with halloumi. I think there is this. The sea bass were served seared with skin on, and a sweet tomato salsa, with a potato tower of some kind. Service were quiet and excellent. I did not once feel rushed and I NEEEEED to return for some côte de boeuf or rib-eye some day soon. This should be written. I'll be needing dress better suited. Until then, I recommend that you do visit Branded Bromley if you should. ~ Lord Amadea-El, 6 November 2025 35:35 gmt24”

“I had a great experience at this great pub located just off Esher high street. I had great communication from Liam to confirm my booking of 20 guys. He arranged a room for us upstairs, took table service for lunch and we were so well cared for by Sam. He was very attentive to us. The whole group had great things to say about their food. An excellent pub for a Sunday roast.”

“I loved the atmosphere of this pub. I was there last Sunday to try the Sunday roast. When I arrived, it was almost impossible to get a table as the place was packed, but the staff were very friendly and quickly found a spot for my wife and me. When we placed our food order, we were told it would take around 20 minutes because many tables were ordering at the same time. I went for the pork belly, and my wife chose the roast beef. We were pleasantly surprised when the food arrived much faster than expected , the portions were generous, and everything was absolutely delicious. I must also highlight the gravy and apple sauce, which was fantastic. I’ll definitely be going back with family and friends!”

“It's not often you walk into a pub you are not familiar with and feel welcome, there's a real family vibe, very friendly atmosphere. Enjoyed a garden BBQ, hosted by the manager who didn't set any prices just asked for donations to support the pub. I felt this was a great indicator of things to come for this place and I'm looking forward to returning when I'm in the area again.”

Nicole, Maddy and Izzie made us feel welcome from when we arrived, before this though, the communication with the team were very attentive and the food options and quality did not disappoint, we'll be booking our 3rd Christmas event here next year too.”

“Absolutely beautiful pub! From the stunning wooden beamed exterior, to the quaint delightful interior, the Blackhorse, is exactly how a pub ought be. The menu options are fantastic, with options for kids and adults alike. So something for everyone - even fussy kids! I love visiting the Blackhorse, with my partner and teenage kids, and we always have a wonderful time, and have created some amazing memories there over the years. “Enjoyed my breakfast here. Four or five other guests were present, so not too busy first thing on a Monday morning. My black coffee was great, although a little expensive if I'm honest. My full English was nicely presented and tasted good. Overall it was very filling. I'd certainly recommend this place if you're passing through the High St area of Tunbridge Wells.”

“I had a great stay at this hotel. The property itself is nice, modern, and very well-kept. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel also has on-site parking which was good. Even when the main car park was full, the staff would arrange additional parking elsewhere There are lots of restaurants and food spots nearby, giving plenty of options for meals. Plus, the transport links to Central London are very good, making it easy to get around. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable stay and i’d definitely recommend”

“I don’t regularly post google reviews but I was so impressed by the weekend I’ve just spent with a group of friends at Nutfield that I felt compelled to tell others. It’s a 4 star hotel but the service is most definitely 5 stars. The friendliest and most helpful staff I can remember coming across at a hotel. We were quite a demanding bunch but nothing was too much trouble.”

“This was my third visit to The Kings Head in Sevenoaks within just a couple of months, and there’s a very good reason I keep coming back. I travel all the way from Farnham, which is a 50-mile trip, but it’s absolutely worth it every time. I’d probably go further if they asked nicely. The pub has everything you’d hope for from a proper village pub. The building is beautifully traditional, full of character, and in the summer the garden is a genuinely lovely place to sit and unwind. The staff are consistently excellent, friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in making people feel right at home. There’s also a solid selection of real ales and lagers, which never disappoints. My first visit was at the tail end of summer, when I sat in the garden for lunch and was instantly taken with the place. A couple of weeks later I returned for an evening meal and was so impressed that I decided to relocate our annual family remembrance gathering here. We came as a group of 11 for lunch on Saturday 15th November, and even though the pub was very busy, the service was faultless. Our waitress was kind, attentive, and had a great sense of humour, which is essential when dealing with our lively family. The team here didn’t flinch. Even though the pub was busy, service stayed top-notch and dishes arrived far quicker than I expected. Miracles do happen. All the dishes we ordered arrived promptly, and every one of us commented on the generous portion sizes (a rarity these days!) and the superb quality. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. I had the cod stew with chorizo and crispy kale, which was an absolute standout — beautifully balanced and bursting with flavour, like a little firework display in a bowl. I followed it with an apple crumble and custard, which met the approval of even our most serious crumble connoisseurs. And, to top it all off, the bill was a very pleasant surprise. It’s refreshing to enjoy food and service of this standard without feeling like you’ve been mugged on the way out. The Kings Head is a place I genuinely love. Traditional, welcoming, great food, great staff, and great value. I’ll happily keep making the 50-mile journey, it’s become a firm favourite of mine.”
