“If I could give 10 stars I would. All I can say is WOW! Delicious food, lovely place and amazing staff. Everything was incredible. The food was so great that we ordered food that we could have the next day and waited for them to cook it (they make everything fresh). I'm so full up but can't wait for tomorrow so I can eat their food again!! It's incredibly reasonable. ..we just spent more because we had a lot!!!”

“Great little bar serving beers and wines on the Elmers End Green, Enjoy a pint or two and a wine and nibbles while watching the world go by. Fleur and her staff are excellent hosts amicable and friendly. Great friendly atmosphere.”

“Had a meal here recently to celebrate a birthday with friends and had a pleasant experience. Elegant interiors and friendly staff greeted us and we were led to our table. It was a bit busy but we didn't feel rushed or that the place was bursting. Good wine, delicious hot chocolate and since it was a Sunday afternoon, we decided to get the seafood starter lamb and seafood roast. The food was delicious and elegantly plated and looked like art. The courgette fries were a bit disappointing though as they were soggy and the coating had all vanished so it felt like we were having raw courgette slices. That tiny blip aside, the afternoon went perfect and the cheesecake at the end made it even more memorable.”

“I pop in whenever I’m in Beckenham, usually just for a drink. My last visit was impromptu and decided to have something to eat. What I really like about this place it’s exactly how a pub should be. It’s clean, comfortable with a good selection of drinks. The staff are all so friendly and make you feel welcome. Proper pub food, done really well and exceptional value for money. Great to see a traditional pub still thriving. Thoroughly recommend this place to anyone!”

“Had superb vegetarian focaccia (mozzarella, sun-dried tomato, aubergine, olives). Cooked to perfection, crispy outside, melty inside. Generous portion and very reasonable prices. They also sell authentic Italian products - pasta, oils, pasta sauces. Also delicious looking cakes, which I didn't try, as focaccia was substantial! Friendly, helpful staff.”

The Levant grilled and marinated chicken was tender and packed with flavor, perfectly complemented by the fresh coleslaw, crisp lettuce, and a sweet yet spicy honey sriracha sauce. The homemade chips were crispy and seasoned to perfection, and the salad with balsamic vinegar added a refreshing balance to the meal. “Had a weekend brunch here and we absolutely loved it! this place is local to me and I couldn’t believe I’ve not been here before. It’s a cute café, decent food, very welcoming staff (they probably know half of the people who come in here as they seem to be regulars) ☺️ We enjoyed our food and the portions were generous! It’s the little things that I truly appreciate, the decor, the way the food was laid on the plate and the atmosphere in the cafe. Overall, would recommend!”

“Just like a previous reviewer, I’ve walked past this place so many times. So glad I finally came in, brought my son, and we had a delicious meal. Guys inside are lovely, service is great, and the food was tasty and well priced. 110 percent recommended, we will be back!”

“Ordered food from here a few times and I've never been disappointed. We've either gone there in person and ordered takeaway or ordered online for delivery. Every time the food has been faultless, loved the octopus and the unagi. Large choice of dishes. Prices a little above average but definitely worth it. We usual order a mixed sashimi set, a mixed sushi set and a couple of other dishes and for two of us it's more than enough. Last time we ordered via deliveroo, took about 30 minutes. The staff are always helpful and friendly.Definitely worth trying the food here.”

“Just moved into this area and saw this take away has excellent reviews. I tried it and went back again. Very impressed with the quality of the food and although they were busy taking orders and cooking, I only waited 15 mins from when I ordered to when I got the food. Very clean as well.”

“This is a busy park cafe. The coffee is very good and on our last visit my son had a huge almond Croissant which was exceptional. We have never had a meal but the menu is varied and what I have seen served looks very appetising. Finally the staff are friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit in my opinion.”

The food was excellent – fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was delicious and clearly made with care. The service was outstanding. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel very well looked after, which made the celebration even more special. A perfect place for birthdays and special occasions. “We were returning from a hospital appointment in London and decided to stop at Ask Italian in Beckenham so that we could be joined by my sister who lives there and lunch together. The service was excellent. Our daughter is in a complex wheelchair and staff at the restaurant went above and beyond to find a table in a comfortable space. There was exceptional attention to our daughter's needs and to my choice of food as I have food allergies. The food, the drink, the kindness and care were notable and guaranteed we would return there again and again. Having a very accessible toilet for our daughter turned this visit to a restaurant into one of the best we have experienced. Thank you to all the staff in so many ways. Jill, Nick and Amy xx”
