“Honestly, one of my favourite spots. Super simple place, the decor is fine, but dated. The staff here are extremely attentive and always incredibly friendly. The food, is out of this world, the chicken is always succulent and juicy, the lamb is tender and rich. All the accompanying foods are just as good. The portions are generous and delicious. I try to come here every couple of months. Super happy to support an honest and high quality establishment. 10/10 every single time.”

“Perfect Birthday Party Venue. The venue turned out to be excellent in every aspect for my toddler's birthday party. The space , the food , the hosting & car park facility. The hotel hall was perfect for our 40 guest list with one wall side fittingly suitable for decor as suggested by them. The food was top notch. The Lotus stem appetizer and Jackfruit Biryani were the stars of the day . They had arranged for nice welcome drinks and catered separately for children’s food as well. We were able to make a corner for kids play. The best thing was there was adequate parking in the venue which the guests really appreciated. They also had a bar facility but we did not use . Thanks for making the event a huge success as it was the first party for our little one . Would definitely recommend Ember & Mist as an event venue . I like to thank and acknowledge the helpfulness of the staff and the understanding of Ember - Mist managers.”

Beautifully decorated for Christmas and warm welcoming lit fireplaces are a huge bonus. The service was kind and professional. Tyrell did a great job taking our order. “I ordered a takeaway for two special kebab platters around 3pm for it to be delivered to my house at 6pm. They do not have a delivery service. Jamal was super helpful and went out of his way to provide delivery. We received our order grilled to perfection with bread salad and sauces on time. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and we will be ordering again. Although I have been in the area for around 30 years, I haven't ever tried Zara before. I like to support local restaurants, and realise with the recent cost of food price hikes, the owners are doing their best to survive. Online ordering services like Deliveroo, Just Eats and Uber Eats take hefty commissions. I always prefer to order direct and let the restaurant owners make a decent margin such that they are there to serve us. Well done Zara Restaurant and thank you.”

“Gave Cheat Meals in Harrow a visit and tried their Spicy Mexican Burger Meal along with Chilli Cheese Bites. The Spicy Mexican Burger had a great flavor and delivered a nice spicy kick, which I enjoyed. The chips were crispy and complemented the burger well. The Chilli Cheese Bites were quite tasty, and flavourful. Staff are friendly and the shop was clean and well maintained. One minor downside was that the shop was a bit hot, which could have been more comfortable if the air con was on.”

“The best calzone I’ve had in the U.K. The food is made very well and served with the best of care. Fabio is brilliant. Fabio greeted me with warmth and Italian affection. Shook my hand and kindly showed me to my table. He offered me a drink of my choice and gave me the depth and breath to choose my meal. Diona has a wonderful warm welcome with a sensational smile. A service that can warm any heart. Diona took very good care of us and made every effort to make us feel comfortable. Topped us up with refreshments and gave us condiments without asking. That’s superb care. Had the best calzone! Loved it. The staff here are kind and everyone is friendly and offers a warm smile to you.”

The room was lovely and even though the room I booked was not air conditioned l, it was quite cool! 10 minute walk to South Harrow station which is served by the Piccadilly Line and a 5 minute bus ride to Harrow-on-the-Hill for the Metropolitan Line. Bus stop is in front of the hotel and buses are extremely frequent, every 5 to 8 minutes.”

“My first visit to the Salt Bar restaurant was a delightful experience! We ordered the small mixed grill for £12, which was a generous portion containing two succulent kebabs, two perfectly cooked chicken wings, two tender lamb pieces, two flaky fish pieces, and a large, flavourful lamb chop. It was cooked just right with a warm and aromatic blend of spices – truly delicious! We enjoyed it so much we decided to order an extra portion. For our main meal, we shared a fragrant Lamb biryani, flavourful bindi (okra), rich Keema, plump king prawns, and a wonderfully garlicky chilli naan. Everything was exceptionally well prepared and utterly delicious. The staff were also polite and attentive, adding to the positive experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the welcoming atmosphere at the Salt Bar pub!”

“I just want to say a very big thank you to Keval and his team for being our live chef at my Mendhi Night at home. They made excellent quality food life in front of the guests which was a very big wow factor. This is the second time I’ve used Keval and never let us down. He always provides a first class service and accommodates your requirements. Live Dosa station is amazing to watch but most importantly they have to be the tastiest Dosa’s I’ve ever had. Everyone has great reviews of the food like always. We ordered Dosa Station Live, Chilli Paneer, Masala Mogo, Chips and their special Pan Puri Shots (with vodka). Dosa’s were made fast so there was not even a long queue even though it was feeding 120 guests. Chilli Paneer and Masala Mogo tasted excellent like always. Keval also bought his own marquee to cook under which was brilliant.”

They play good music and although it's a bar, the later it get it sort of turns into a mini club and people dance. The vibe is live on a weekend. “I popped into The George in Harrow recently and was really impressed with how much it’s changed since the new owner took over. The vibe is genuinely friendly — staff were chatty and welcoming, and it had that easy, relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Watched the football there, and I loved that you could see the screens clearly no matter where you sat, which was perfect. Drinks were decently priced too, so it didn’t feel like you were getting stung just to enjoy a pint. And it’s spotless. Like, noticeably clean. I’ll definitely be heading back!”

“The only restaurant I will drive over an hour for - which is exactly what we did. I’ve only been here 4 times - the first was over 10 years ago - it was my first introduction to Persian food and let me tell you, my taste buds were amazed. I went again soon after my first visit but I just never forgot it and had been planning for years to return but never got an opportunity as it’s so far. I took my friends in 2023 and they were blown away by the food and have been asking to go back since then, which we did a few days ago. I have to say, not only is Persian food my favourite cuisine now but this restaurant has been consistently great since I first went many years ago until now. Food is delicious - full of flavour and meat is succulent - even the chicken is cooked to perfection. The prices are great and portions are huuuuge. Restaurant is busy and has a lovely atmosphere. I didn’t book a table but we would’ve happily waited as long as necessary to eat here - luckily the wait was only about 15 minutes this time. Service is very good with waiters being very attentive. I just love this place and kind of glad I don’t live near here because I’d get obese from eating here every day - not to mention, poor too! Will return soon though. The restaurant is decorated quite traditionally - even though it clearly hasn’t had a revamp in decades, it works because I suppose it adds to the charm of the place and love the little tandoor area at the front of the restaurant. The only downside however is that the restaurant is not wheelchair friendly or accessible at all - there are steps to all of the dining areas.”
