“We have always been a regular at strand cafe and it was recently taken over by new owners. They still do a lovely breakfast menu, and Thai food but the place has been beautifully renovated. Had a chicken salad which was fresh and tasty, and the cafe manager was so welcoming and accommodating. Will definitely be back!”

“Lovely authentic food. Massive portions and they are happy to give you box to take food home because we couldn't eat it all. Very relaxed atmosphere, people were lovely and courteous. “The Old ship is a classic lunch time spot in Richmond. They have a lot of space both down and upstairs, with the upstairs being an unbelievable event space. We come regularly for lunch and it never fails. As a gluten free man the cider battered fish and chips went down a treat, as well as the pint in the picture below ‘Bandit’. One of nicest gluten free pints I have had in years.”

“We had reserved a Christmas lunch for ten individuals at a different Green King establishment. After receiving only generic confirmation emails and no further communication, we visited the pub a week prior to our booking, only to discover it was still under construction. Dec, the Area Manager, was present and clarified that a mix-up had occurred, and our reservation should have been canceled. Following some concern, Dec successfully rebooked our lunch arrangements at the Barney Arns in Twickenham. Our visit to the Barney Arms was met with exceptional service from Chloe, who demonstrated remarkable helpfulness and understanding, effectively alleviating any concerns we had. Our Christmas luncheon was exceptional, characterized by outstanding cuisine and a superb ambiance. The staff provided exemplary service. Dec, Chloe, and the team provided exceptional assistance. We will certainly be rebooking for next year. Thank you for making our Christmas Day truly special.”

“My family and I dined at the Kings Arms Hotel on 16.9.23. From the start, staff are warm, welcoming and accommodating. They got us seated immediately and brought over extra chairs as we required them. The impeccable service continued throughout, including inquiring how our meal was regularly and providing colouring pencils and sheets for the children with us. The food was standard but presented very well and all of it arrived at the same time, which we appreciated. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and we so enjoyed our visit. We would recommend this restaurant and its brilliant service to others.”

“We had a lovely time here at Harts. Food and drinks were great. Good portion sizes, the food was hot and the staff were very attentive. The only criticism would be that the spotlights are incredibly bright and harsh but that of course is no fault of the staff! Just maybe something that could be looked at,”

“This was a last minute booking as the apartment we had arranged proved to be very bad. We were able to book two rooms for two night at a reasonable price. The staff was very helpful both at the hotel as well as at the restaurant the rooms were clean, well maintained and the beds were good. The parking was roomy and easy to register for. The only 'grievance' we had was the coffee but I have never had an British hotel with good coffee :-D. Overall a very good place to stay.”

Had the mixed starter platter and red curry. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Nicely decorated inside, also has some outdoor seating with great river views.”

“Went here with work colleagues and had a lovely time. Really special unique restaurant on a boat on the lake at Regent’s Park. It was a freezing evening but we received a warm welcome and soon warmed up. Our party was 8 of us and we were taken care of very well. The food is fantastic, so tasty and cooked to perfection. The cocktails and wine were also good. We were not rushed and service was outstanding. Lovely place which I will recommend and return to.”

“A private hire of the Richmond Royale - we had a fantastic trip from Richmond to Hampton Court and back over four hours. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Turks pointed us towards a few caterers - Chilibees made a selection of delicious canapes which were already on the boat for us when we were picked up. A beautiful day to be up on the top deck with a drink or two from the onboard bar, enjoying the river views. Thank you Turks, highly recommended!”
