“Words can't say how grateful I am to this establishment. Having just moved into a flat we desperately needed to get our washing machine up and running. However, we didn't have the right part to fit it and needed it urgently. I phoned through and the shop keeper waited for me to arrive and helped me find the right part and even said if it wasn't the right one I could return it. It was the right part and our washing machine finally worked, I highly recommend this DIY shop.”

“GO TO BABYNEST! We went in yesterday for advice on getting a replacement car seat. We were bowled over by Chloe’s knowledge and expertise, and just how friendly and helpful she was without ever being pushy. She helped us fit our new seat and even came back out after I’d fed the baby to check she was safely seated. Just amazing customer service. Babynest specialize in larger items like car seats, cots and prams - HUGE range - but has the Stokke Tripp Trapp and accessories too. I wish they also sold weaning things and clothes as would be in there all the time! If you are expecting though - go here!! Thank you Babynest!”

“I jumped on the bus going the wrong way to get home from ASDA . When I and the wife jumped off to head the right direction we decided to grab a bite when we saw the Plough. They were only serving Sunday Roast and I am extremely glad . I would have hated to have ordered something else and missed this great dish! Being from Texas there is a certain expectation when it come to cooked beef and this roast didn’t disappoint but you will pay for it. It’s a bit pricey for only 1 piece of beef but the quality was outstanding. I will return for more!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Our local pub. We are not regulars but came here quite a few times with our baby son and with friends. Beer is always great, staff is lovely. Haven’t had a chance to try to food yet but will do soon. It’s dog friendly too (it has two beer gardens). We do grief the vivid blue colour. It was such a nice vibe. The white is quite ordinary.”

“Great spot for food and drinks. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the portion sizes! Nice atmosphere inside and out but we opted to sit in the beer garden and enjoy the sunshine. Lots of parasols for cover. Super friendly manager who was very accommodating, checking everything was good for us and letting us know about a BBQ the following day.”

“The plastic handle on our dishwasher snapped and I was concerned that it couldn't be repaired. The owner of Addiscome DIY came to the rescue and suggested his "secret superglue", which fixed the problem completely. He also researched and provided a line for a discontinued Flymo stripper. I always find the owner polite, friendly and most helpful. His shop has everything! Stocktaking must be a nightmare...”
