He arranged a room for us upstairs, took table service for lunch and we were so well cared for by Sam. He was very attentive to us. The whole group had great things to say about their food. My wife was injured on the way to The Bear, and we couldn’t have been met with more kindness and care. The staff went above and beyond, and Tracy was an absolute gem—warm, genuine, and made us feel like we were staying with friends rather than in a hotel. This stay really highlighted the contrast with one of the sister hotels we visited, which lacked the same warmth and charm. It’s our second time at The Bear—we stayed last year, and although my wife was initially hesitant about staying in a pub setting, she ended up loving it so much that it topped her list for this year’s trip. We noticed several subtle improvements since our last visit—small touches that really add up and elevate the overall experience. It’s clear that care and attention to detail are a priority here. If we had one minor complaint, it would be the limited parking, but it’s a small trade-off for such a welcoming and comfortable stay. Top rated—we’d love to return again.”

“Absolutely delicious! We had a chicken tikka biryani and a chicken tikka karahi, delivered to eat at home, and the food was outstanding. My biryani was perfectly cooked to my preferred level of heat, and was packed with meat, the sauce full of vegetables. The karahi likewise had big tender chunks of chicken, and the onions brought a lovely sweetness to the sauce. The portions were generous too :) I'll certainly be ordering from there again.”

“I had a very bad fall on marble tiles within 30 minutes of arriving at our holiday hotel. Was hospitalised as I'd broken my femur and needed surgery. Healix International were absolutely amazing and dealt with everything on our behalf. Every contact was dealt with compassionately with very understanding staff. From being admitted to hospital, my operation and discharge back to the hotel until I was fit to fly. Then the repatriation with a medical assistance team everything was amazing and took the pressure from us from already dealing with very difficult circumstances. Thank you to everyone who dealt with our case and to a company that showed great compassion and obviously that is continued on with your fantastic staff.”

Working in the studio with Trackman helps immensely as he can see the visual graphics and data on what's happening to his swing and ball flights. Oli works very well with kids, he finds him a relax and chilled teacher!”
