“My partner and I visited this lovely cafe. He ordered a delicious smoothie which he thoroughly enjoyed and the jacket potatoes we both had were very tasty. “It's more like a cafe and bar. The coffee is great, and their croissants are ginormous in size and taste. There's a corner with Italian foods (pastas, sauces, olive oil etc.) That's really good too, but you probably wouldn't go there to do shopping. There are great cuts of meat, you might go for that. As you go in, there's a bar with live music. Love the concept, and great for so many occasions.”

“We had bought an air fryer about a year ago but unfortunately had a problem with it and needed to return it. I phoned the store and spoke to a lady whose name was Caroline, I told her the problem and she apologised and then asked if I had the receipt so that I could return the product. I had not kept the receipt but instead of that being the end of the matter she asked for the details from my Lakeland card and then trawled through the system and found my purchase. As I could not get to the store that day she said that she would leave the details at the tills and inform her colleagues. I went to the store the next day and on speaking to a member of staff at the till, (sorry I did not take her name but on a new till receipt her operator number is 5180088) and she was aware of me coming in. I returned the product without any quibble and when I asked for a straight swap, although I wanted to change brands and pay extra, she advised me to take a refund instead and then buy the new product so that I got the full 3 year warranty which I did and then she told me that I had a £30 voucher on my card which I did not know and used to complete the purchase. The customer service that I received and the friendliness of both members of staff was excellent and I would formally like to congratulate them and the store in a manner that in my opinion went above and beyond what they could have done. Before retirement I worked in retailing for some 36 years and put great value on customer service. Kind regards Robert Holmes”

“I’m from Glasgow and this is my favourite caf for a spot of lunch when visiting London. My go-to is their fab ham and cheese omelette which is served with sides of chips and a refreshing simple salad including onion, tomato and cucumber. Lunch here really sets you up so well for the rest of the day whether shopping, travelling, visiting attractions or enjoying some great pubs. Mug of ‘char’ on the side and you’ll be laughing all the way til dinner time. Friendly and fast service, good vibes and a nice ambiance for a chat or a quiet break while looking out the window. “A lovely cafe in Romford with great food! The prices are reasonable and the staff are very kind. I’ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed. I usually get the full English breakfast with tea, and my boyfriend likes the chef special set 1. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice during the summer. The toilet is inside and was spotless. I would recommend!”
