βthis school is amazing it screams help the school has definitely improved and it has a lot of exercise motions i guess. such as the huge hill they have to walk on to get to their lessonsβ
βOfsted rating has gone down but they have a new principal who has made some great improvements at another school in Forest Gate . Newham is not a good borough and a high percent of residents not only live in poverty but also suffer from bad housing and face multiple challenges. The schools here are still better than in Northern cities. Eastlea also has great facilities. The teachers work hard to educate and improve pupil's lives despite of the school being in Canning Town which is one of the worst areas Newham regarding social problems.β
βGreat School - strict but although children initially find it hard to follow rules, most get used to them and don't get stressed. Students are proud to wear their uniforms and are well behaved. Having a school like this will prepare them for life. Learning self discipline and good values cannot be wrong.β
βI have nothing but good things to say about this school. Both of my children have done well here. My son started in year 7 with good but not brilliant results, he is now in the first year of sixth form having gained 9 GCSE's a-b grades and is on course for university. My daughter is doing exceptionally well in year 9, in all subjects. They're not perfectly behaved, they have fun in school and and are both very active - they like being at school, never want to take time off and have always achieved high percentage of attendance. They also make no bones in complaining if something isn't right - but hopefully do it in a constructive way. As parents we try to always show solidarity with the school in front of the children, but when we do complain, the school are generally receptive and sort things out. There are no doubt very badly behaved children within school and Cleeve is in my opinion used as the local dumping ground for troubled children, but the school has an holistic approach to learning, it cares about each and every child as a whole It has some fabulous teachers Mr K - an amazing math teacher and form tutor, Ms Morgan - has the finger on the pulse with every child, Mr Bone - brilliant, Mr Luck, Miss Goody, Ms Crozier and the fabulous Ms Stokes to name but a few....... My children have had brilliant opportunities with this school Duke of Edinburgh award, skiing trips, choir, drama, french trips, competing in the bexley athletics, University trips, engineering awards, sports leadership, mentoring to name but a few. The school has lovely grounds and makes a real effort to keep the school tidy and clean despite the efforts of some pupils who obviously don't know how to behave. I think its very sad, that children/parents feel the need to say such awful things about their school without balancing their comments with all the efforts that are made for the children who want to learn.β
βI am currently a sixth-former at this school and have been at this school since year 7, it is an excellent school, excellent teachers and lessons are engaging and enjoyable. The facilities are excellent, there are a wide range of clubs for everyone and its a very welcoming school, especially for me as i came to Hayes School alone and made lots of new friends... would definitely recommend this school to everyone, the best secondary school ever!β
βSchool looks beautiful and organised. Trying to get a place for my kid hereβ
βWas a great school back in 2011 im not sure how it changed now.β
βHuge credit to the manager Yusuf and the entire team. The staff are genuinely helpful, respectful, and always trying their best to support members. You can really feel the positive atmosphere they create.β
βHad my son's 5th birthday party here last weekend and had a ball. Our host Gemma looked after us perfectly and made sure we had everything we needed. The community room and kitchen was clean and tidy - it was perfect for serving food, playing party games and came with soft play items. The surprise highlight was the bouncy castle (more like bouncy obstacle course) upstairs in the sports hall. It was mega and the kids (and some adults) loved it! Highly recommended as a venue for kids birthday parties.β
βThe Best place to work out, with plenty of options and well sized pools. The price is really good for that variety. I love it.β
βIβve had a great experience at Botwell Green Sports and Leisure Centre thanks to Calum. Heβs always friendly, professional, and goes out of his way to help everyone who comes in. Whether itβs answering questions, keeping the facilities running smoothly, or offering assistance with the gym equipment, Calum is always approachable and reliable. Itβs clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about providing a positive experience for visitors. His positive attitude and attention to detail make a real difference β the centre always feels well-managed and welcoming when heβs on shift. Overall, Calum is a real asset to Botwell Green Sports and Leisure Centre. Highly recommend his service and the great atmosphere he helps create!β
βPeople saying they got paid to write a review are such lying idiots. Rooks Heath is nothing but an excellent school. The teachers at RH should be role models for others, because they work their hardest, they always go that extra mile (shout out to Corzberg) for the students and their ability to understand and forgive the students is beyond measure! The atmosphere our teachers create is what any school should have.β
βBoth my children go to St. Andrews. My daughter started from the first day when St Andrews opened and then my son followed two years later. My daughter is now preparing for her GCSE,s and the teachers are being supportive and amazing. Both my childrenβs grades have exceeded my expectations and Iβm proud to say my son and daughter attend this school. My daughter is determined to stay on for sixth form knowing she can progress even further. Iβm thankful to all the staff and teachers, who make the school feel like a big family.β
βI like the way this school works with the girls to be strong and believe in themselves. There hasn't been a school with such a clear, strong identity in the area for a long time especially to support girls in our community!β
βGreat big thank you the team at the centre, in particular the manager (whos name I've forgotten, sorry). We requested at very short notice to hire the fitness studio for a last minute rehearsal. The manager was very nice to deal with, and went the extra mile to accomodate our requests. Even allowed us to use the bigger gym space when we realised our numbers were so many that the studio space was too small. Fantastic experience. Thank you againβ
βi think its a great school . The Teachers are really supportive and some of the students are friendly . I have learnt alot in the school .You should being your child to parkhigh . ITS THE BEST !β
βThis school is great for education as it helps both personal education and teamwork. It might have some flaws but the good things are more.β
βBest decision was to enroll at this school. I have been previously troubled at my last school and this school has done so much for me and created so many good memories for me to reflect and look back on. My head of year and teachers did everything they could to help me excel at my GCSEs and I ended up having very good grades. The school has been so encouraging and has helped me to become a better version of myself.β

βThe boxing class has a great atmosphereβchallenging but beginner-friendly. The coach is super supportive and really pays attention to your progress. Everyone's welcoming, no ego, just people trying to improve. Itβs a solid mix of fitness, technique, and motivation. Honestly, I look forward to it every week. Highly recommend.β
βI just completed the 4 week beginner course at Ealing Pole Studio, and I couldnβt be more pleased with the experience! This was my first time trying pole dancing, and I was honestly a bit intimidated at first. However, Alex, our instructor, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, calm, and incredibly persistent in helping me and the other students master the moves. What stood out the most was how invested she was in our success not just in getting the moves right, but in teaching us the technique behind them. Her focus on building a solid understanding of each move made a huge difference in my progress. Iβve already been surprised by how much Iβve achieved in just four weeks. If youβre considering starting your pole dancing journey, I highly recommend this course. Iβm excited to start the improvers class to see what else is possible!β
βIβve been training at Team Shark Martial Arts Academy, and itβs been an incredible experience. The coaches are highly skilled, passionate, motivational, and dedicated to helping students improve, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced fighter. The classes are well-structured, combining technique, conditioning, and real fight application. Muay Thai, Muay Boran, and Kickboxing are taught with deep knowledge and respect for tradition while also being adapted for modern training. The atmosphere is welcoming and supportive. As a complete beginner, I was initially hesitant and a bit confused, but from day one, both the coach and students at all levels made me feel welcome. They took the time to explain best practices and even shared their own experiences from when they started the same journey. With their support, Iβm already feeling more confident and starting to see real improvements. This is truly a great place to train, whether you're looking to improve fitness, learn self-defense, or compete. If youβre looking for high-quality martial arts training in a friendly and motivating environment, I highly recommend Team Shark Martial Arts Academy!β
