My partner purchased the tiny wren for my 40th and my family contributed to the cost of the customised magpies and branches to be built around it. I was consulted all the way through this with recommendations made but listening to my preferences too. They were understanding at every step and communicated well, keeping me informed. “We were only a few months into a very intentional relationship. However we were at the time only looking to see what rings we would like and what sizes we both had. It was at the end of our day and we were looking for a place to eat but came across Zen Diamond that was lit up and just went in for a look. Julia was very welcoming and sat us down and offered us some water. She was brilliant with connecting with us and asking the right questions about what we wanted in the engagement ring. We loved her energy and respect for us. We could see her passion in her role and dealt with us with great care and was very personable. She was able to answer all of our questions and even helped us outside of hours and who to contact when she was not available. Julia is very relatable and we wish her every success. It was a time that there were a lot of promotional offers and Julia helped to find us the wedding rings and engagement ring. We also had a challenging payment plan that we were able to make some adjustments to and settle within time. Julia is honest and truthful and gave great information about the fingers swelling in the summer. This is true and I was happy to share news of the official engagement with Julia. The other shop staff were welcoming and lovely too in all my other trips to make the payments. Also the fact they held the rings in a safe for us on a special request and then provided a nice incognito bag to disguise the goods helped.”

“I visited Inks and Needles in April ‘24 to get a tattoo from Jay, we messaged each other about the design beforehand. Jay’s enthusiasm for his art is absolutely infectious. Everything was clean and hygienic, the aftercare was explained throughly and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I have every intention of coming back for another tattoo as soon as I figure out what I want to have done. While having my tattoo, I noticed the piercer, working with a client. I liked how he talked her through the piercing so decided, spur of the moment to have a helix done. Sandro was happy to talk me through the process, we discussed my existing piercings & he advised me on the most suitable piece for my ear. He explained the cleaning process and advised me to come back to have the bar shortened after 6+ weeks which I did. I recently had to undergo surgery so immediately went to Sandro to have my piercings changed out for plastic retainers. Yesterday I went back again to have the piercings changed back and took the opportunity to have another helix. Again, Sandro was wonderful, helping me choose a huggie for the helix he’d done in April and a cute little flower for the new helix.
