“I've been to many Jewsons over the years, this was my first visit to this particular branch and I have to say I was very impressed. There was plenty of parking, all of the staff were extremely helpful, there appeared to be plenty of stock available and although they didn't have what I was after the guy behind the desk rang another branch an found what I needed which was also nearer to the intended jobsite. “Rodie (or Rody) and the young man at the till (sorry, I didn’t catch his name) went above and beyond. I came in worried, as I’d just been told elsewhere that the car battery I’d bought wasn’t the right fit for my car. The young man reassured me that it was the correct type and explained it clearly, which really put me at ease. Rodie then fitted the battery quickly, with great professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness, and also advised me on a charger. Both were easy to talk to, polite, and made what started as a stressful situation into a very positive experience. Their professionalism and excellent service really stood out and deserve to be acknowledged.”

“I looked online for a country style kitchen and fell in love with the Homebase cream Country Shaker kitchen. I decided to pop into the Staines Homebase to take a look at it in person and was greeted by kitchen designer, Aneisha Muhammad. I explained the look I was after and she immediately sat down at her computer and designed my new kitchen. Aneisha is a very experienced designer and was able to made use of every inch of space and while my focus was purely on the look of the kitchen, she made sure it was practical for every day use. As well as the design, Aneisha did everything possible to make sure I did not miss out on special offers and deals. I was delighted with the design plan and ordered the kitchen. Homebase gave me details of a builder who had glowing reviews and the kitchen installation was very quickly booked in. During the installation, Aneisha continued to work closely with the builders to ensure a smooth installation. Hearing from others, having a new kitchen is a very stressful experience, but for me it was the complete opposite. Working with Aneisha was a wonderful experience. She is such a lovely, friendly person who took care of everything without any fuss. I received a very personal service and a genuine interest in my new kitchen. The end results speak for themselves and I have had so many “WOWS” from friends and family who have seen the new kitchen. Thank you Aneisha and Homebase for delivering my dream kitchen.”

After I had issues with an outfit I got from Mumbai a week before my sister’s wedding, I went to Estie and Amir was incredibly helpful in helping me choose an outfit. Even after that when there were issues with my sister’s outfit from India, they were incredibly responsive in trying to source another outfit for her and made the whole ordeal much less stressful. They have incredible outfits in store and I would definitely buy from them again!”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Even when there is a long queue, I'm served quickly. Lots of seating downstairs and upstairs and it's cleaned regularly throughout the day. I go for the coffee, which is very nice for a chain. I do hope they bring more variety to the coffee blends though.”

“I visited Primark in Staines today with my friend for some shopping. While trying on a jacket, I accidentally left my bag on the rail and completely forgot about it as we moved to another section of the store. When I realised my bag was missing — with my phone, cards, and money inside — I completely panicked. I went back to the area where I had been, but the bag was gone. I asked a member of staff for help and was directed to Customer Services. That’s when a lovely lady named Tracey approached me and told me she had noticed my bag left unattended and quickly took it to keep it safe before anyone else could approach it. I can’t thank Tracey enough for her kindness and honesty. She truly went above and beyond to make sure my belongings were safe. I feel incredibly lucky that she was there — someone else could easily have taken my bag. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Tracey. You are an amazing person and a great member of staff. Primark is very lucky to have such wonderful, caring employees like you!”
