“Had my son's 5th birthday party here and him and his friends were having a blast. The trampoline area is big but not too overwhelming, several staff members were looking after everyone for safety reasons. The UV party room was excelent, the kids were all delighted. The food was fresh and tasty, the pizza was warm and delicious. The staff member was attentive and helpful in the room. I wish I took her name to put it here. We're all felt very well looked after and not rushed at all even if we passed our 30 minutes time in there. Thank you! We will be coming back!”

My wife was injured on the way to The Bear, and we couldn’t have been met with more kindness and care. The staff went above and beyond, and Tracy was an absolute gem—warm, genuine, and made us feel like we were staying with friends rather than in a hotel. This stay really highlighted the contrast with one of the sister hotels we visited, which lacked the same warmth and charm. It’s our second time at The Bear—we stayed last year, and although my wife was initially hesitant about staying in a pub setting, she ended up loving it so much that it topped her list for this year’s trip. We noticed several subtle improvements since our last visit—small touches that really add up and elevate the overall experience. It’s clear that care and attention to detail are a priority here. If we had one minor complaint, it would be the limited parking, but it’s a small trade-off for such a welcoming and comfortable stay. Top rated—we’d love to return again.”

“My wife, daughter, and I ate here while visiting Chessington World Adventures. The food was fantastic, the ambience was lovely, and the staff were patient and very welcoming. The staff welcomed us and gave enough time between each course and couldn't be more helpful. The food was as good as a meal in Italy! We ordered both the bruschetta and caprese salad between my wife and l, and the tastes were well-balanced and only bettered by the fresh pumpkin ravioli and pizza. “I have been attending this clinic weekly for approximately 8 months and it is no exaggeration to say that each visit is so good that you feel it cannot be bettered and yet somehow it is! From the very first visit you are made so welcome. The atmosphere is warm,friendly and caring. All staff are impeccably trained and professional whilst still managing to build a rapport with each client. No matter what you are there for it becomes a totally holistic experience, I cannot recommend it highly enough and will continue to have treatments whether I need them or not!”

We were able to decorate the room and also to have a local guitarist entertain us together with a fab face painter. Our party was able to order yummy food and drinks from the bar.
