“This place is absolutely perfect! Our vrbo got cancelled on the day we arrived in London and thankfully Sanctum came up at the last minute at a reasonable price and had a lot to offer. The room was bright and spacious with a full kitchen and there was groceries right around the corner and a train across the street.”
“fantastic classes and teachers- my daughter absolutely loves it here. Super nurturing and great for building their confidence.”
“We went to watch OG at Cineworld and used our three vouchers. We arrived a bit late, but the girl at the counter — I think her name was Manisha or Monika — was so kind and professional. She had her hair neatly tied, giving a very polished and professional look. She told us not to worry since the ads were still playing and helped us quickly with a warm smile. Great service and a lovely experience overall! She also suggested we watch Katatara, so we’ll be back next week.”
“I went to see 12th Night at this friendly comfortable theatre near Old street and Hoxton Stations. The bar inside is lovely relaxing with friendly staff. In the theatre itself is friendly and know matter where you are seated, you are close to all the action. The acting from all involved was brilliant and a big shout to Beatrice Kabiswa as one of the jesters who was just great as were all the other actors and actresses on this modern take of Shakespeare's 12th Night.”
“My husband and I had a great stay at this DOUBLETREE hotel thanks to the wonderful hospitality shown to us by the people who work there. We want to give a special shoutout to Akanksha at the reception who made us feel very welcome as soon as we checked in and also Avinash and Dase who took good care of us during breakfast and dinner at the bar. We will always remember their exceptional services which made our London trip extra memorable.”
“The DoubleTree by Hilton is conveniently located near Prince Regent and Pontoon Dock DLR stations, as well as London City Airport. Situated right next to the London Excel and overlooking the Gallions Point Marina, it offers an ideal setting for both leisure and business visitors. My family and I visited for a Christmas get-together meal, and our experience was excellent from the start. The entrance is welcoming, with cheerful and attentive staff ready to assist. Opposite the reception is a mini-store stocked with essential goods, though prices are on the higher side. There are inviting breakout areas for guests who wish to work or have a quiet chat, set apart from the bar and restaurant. These spaces are conveniently located near the spotless, well-maintained restrooms. The spacious bar offers a wide selection of drinks, although port and sherry options were limited during our visit. Depending on the events at the Excel, the atmosphere remains pleasantly peaceful, making conversation easy. Comfortable and plentiful seating adds to the relaxed ambience. The servers were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided excellent hospitality, with a special mention for Lucas. He took the time to clarify menu choices, which was a thoughtful touch. Guests can choose from both bar and restaurant menus, with prices more reasonable than many other London restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the Cajun wings, and was delighted to find that, in addition to sorbet for guests with dietary restrictions, a delicious passion fruit tart was available. Portion sizes for the main courses were generous and satisfying. Even as crowds from the Excel arrived later, the lively atmosphere enhanced the experience without becoming overwhelming. For sports enthusiasts, there is also a large TV for viewing. Overall, I highly recommend visiting for drinks or a meal—it's a standout choice compared to other venues in the area.”
“Perfect location nearby Trafalgar square and a couple of minutes walk from the Holborn tube station. The rooms are fairly big and clean. The bed was comfortable. 24x7 complimentary coffee and tea is available at the lobby. The crew was very kind and welcoming.”
“I stayed here last week and had a wonderful time. The room was very well cleaned and had a decent view out to the main road + the matresses were soft and comfortable. I really enjoyed their free breakfast as well. The next tube station is just a 10 minute walk away which is super convenient. (Bus even less with just a 2 minute walk) The staff was very pleasant and even assisted me with a call when I ordered some food to the hotel. I'd definitely come again. :)”
“Lovely hotel rooms are small but perfect the breakfast selection is not huge but perfect best mushrooms I have ever had so tasty. It is just beside the tube which has you to heatrow in 45 minutes or less it is right beside the O2 in Shepard's bush loads of restaurants and bars around. The hotel lobby is very relaxing with its furnishings and soft light we could sit and relax before getting our flight home.”
“I have 6 movie tickets to use every year through my bank account. We haven't used them for years, it's just more convenient to watch at home. Had a great time here watching Mean Girls though. The service was quick, the seats were comfortable and prices were reasonable (with a 50% discount voucher for popcorn). There were people talking all the way through, which you don't get at home, but it wasn't too bad.”
“Easy for to get to by 62 bus stops nearby and train station staff very helpful had a good continental breakfast and a cooked breakfast the next day cook was so helpful ,gluten free bread and museli was available on. Request So much better than liberty bell never got breakfasts often had to get food from the tesco”
“Very nice hotel. Is not expensive but the services are very good for the money. The rooms are clean, every day the cleaners change the bed sheets, towels and consumables. The rooms have big LCD TV, air conditioning, hair dryer, kettle, mini fridge, safe and microwave oven. The room doors are locked with electronic latches wich sometimes doesn't work properly because of magnetic cards, but the problem is very well known by the hotel employees and they will change your card without any problems. Parking is not free and you can park at the basement of the hotel or into Ibis hotel parking.”
“Never been to this Travelodge before but I’ve stayed in many and this one is a good position, close to the end of the M1. It’s a little convoluted to get here, certainly if you’re coming down from the M1 but Google is your friend so just follow her directions and she will guide you in. There is parking…..yes you heard right, there is parking at the rear of the Hotel and I had no problem, even with the big Audi. The parking registration computer was broken so Erica the receptionist explained and gave me a form. Special mention about Erica, she was lovely and explained about breakfast, which I had booked. There was a large party in so advised I get down PDQ after 0800 to get a fuss free sitting. She sorted me a room which was on the opposing side of the hotel to the train line which runs at the back of the car park and I guess could be noisy in the night. I got into 208 on the second floor and it was the same as normal, boring but familiar, which as a business customer, is exactly as you would wish. The room was clean, tidy and well set out. I love that there are USB sockets x4 although maybe 2 could be USBc if I was being picky. Overall the room was great. I didn’t give it 10 out of 10 because there were a couple of things which let it down somewhat. The first was possibly the only thing I would actually complain about and that was the toilet flush which the chrome was breaking off which left jagged and will certainly cut your finger if you were unaware or maybe a child. The rest are just observations which wouldn’t affect your stay but maybe not what you would expect from a company of this stature. The chairs were both damaged, the desk chair because it was not ment to fit under the desk and rubs each time. The shower extractor is very rusty, as is the bottle opener, there is condensation damage to the bathroom mirror and mould on the shower wall holder. Would this stop me coming again? No, not at all as it fits my needs exactly.. I will mention the toilet flush though”
“Place is beautiful. A little small friendly cinema. Not too pricey on drinks or popcorn. Tickets can be a little expensive so be aware. The place has the most beautiful chandelier with beautiful wall papers to match. Great and huge mirrors. It's carpeted and well taken care of. Located in the heart of central London so there are restaurant close by. Very small and might be a little tricky find if you've never been to London before but Google maps is definitely your best friend. All in all Loved it.”
“Dh**i was very polite and helpful at checkin. She managed to sort out early checkin as they had a room ready. Diamond member but the exec lounge was not ready. But they have a small area at back of restaurant as a temporary lounge which opens from 11am. Couldn’t find a plug socket though. They stored my bag and i picked it up in the evening. Rooms are outdated, however they are going through refurbishment in 2026. Exciting! Breakfast is good.”
“Good cinema. Comfortable seats. Enough space to get comfortable. Good snacks and drinks options. Toilets are clean and tidy. Very good idea with crane /claw machines. Sofas to seat outside. Love to have Baskin and Robbins there. There are 12 screens. Me, my daughter and my friends really enjoyed the time.”
“Vue Cinema London delivered a solid overall experience when I went yesterday to watch Dhurandhar. Booking was straightforward, and getting in was quick with clear signage and staff on hand if needed. The screen and sound were strong throughout the film, and the picture quality stayed sharp with good brightness and contrast, which made the action and atmosphere land well. The seating was comfortable enough for a full feature, and the auditorium felt well maintained. It did get a bit busy around showtime, so there was the usual pre-film rush at concessions, but it moved reasonably fast. Cleanliness was generally good, including the seating area and common spaces. Overall, a reliable choice for a night at the movies in London—good presentation, smooth entry, and a comfortable watch. I’d happily return, especially for big releases where sound and screen quality really matter.”
“Really lovely, helpful staff and a great, clean, spacious room. If you are searching for excellent stay then it’s great choice.”
“My three children went here for many years and absolutely loved it! Signing them up to this school is the best thing I ever did. They developed a deep passion for drama and performing and it was a little oasis for them where they could grow in confidence, learn new skills and feel very supported. We have so much to thank WLDT for!”
“My daughter has just started attending this college, she is absolutely having the time of her life and loves it :) xxx”

“Andrei was such a pleasure to work with. I notice immediate change. The Demidov technique gave me confidence in my work. For actors who are in their head, or having a hard time finding trust in what they’re doing. I highly recommend his six week course.”
“The college is exceptionally well-run, with a professional and organized approach that ensures everything operates smoothly. The staff is incredibly friendly and approachable, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. The teaching is of an excellent standard, with dedicated educators who are both knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects. Overall, it’s an outstanding institution that fosters both academic and personal growth.”
“Beautiful School in special for Isabella Sermon ❤️”
“Our daughter has been part of the Rose Arts family for over 4 years now and here is her testimonial of her personal experience. I'm 16 years old, I joined the Rose Arts London when I was 12 years old and I can honestly say that I love it there, not only have I improved so much in dance, I have also been given so many opportunities such as performing in a West End theatre, at the Lambeth Country Show and at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, just to name a few. I've been given so much support by the amazing team, who put genuine care for students and professionalism in their work. Overall I recommend The Rose Arts London to anyone interested in expanding on their performing arts skills or looking to grow confidence. Julia”
“I would whole heartedly and enthusiastically recommend The School for anyone who wants to train as an actor but can’t afford or isn’t eligible or able to go down the traditional drama school route.”
“You're in London and thinking about taking acting classes? I wholeheartedly recommend Bruce Alexander and his Melbourne Acting Studio - London. No matter what you're experience is you'll find the right classes for you. Bruce's approach makes you feel confident, you'll let go of fear and explore and understand your character. "Consider getting rid of the idea that acting is hard - take a mature approach. Work construction, rhythm, dynamics & power. You will create." Bruce Alexander”
