“Very nice hotel in a splendid location at a lovely part of the River Thames. very clean room with helpful and friendly staff throughout. Large queen size bed in standard room which is still bigger than most equivalent hotel rooms. All facilities are good and function well. restaurant serves throughout the whole day. “This is really a gem of a hostel right in the perfect spot of London. Located right o the Lower Marsh Market, the Walrus has very nice rooms, stunning (especially for a hostel) bathrooms, and a great/lively bar downstairs where all travelers get 10% off! Generous free breakfast is included, and the staff is very accommodating. Right next to Waterloo Station, but I really did not find the noise to be that bad at all. The upside of being so close is you can get nearly anywhere in the city (and beyond via SouthWestern/Northern Railways) right from Waterloo. I plan on returning any time I end up in London!”

“A vibe! Food was great and the interior aesthetic was definitely insta-worthy! We ordered: Elote, Chimichangas, Beef burrito, prawn tacos, and Churros for dessert. Also the chicken taco from the kids menu - best Mexican food we've had in a long time, everything was zingy and fresh, and not stodgy or packet-tasting. Especially recommend the prawn tacos. Staff are friendly and attentive. Price was fair for what was offered. Nothing else like this in West London, particularly grateful that it's Halal! Will definitely be back with friends!”

“Wonderful pub with fantastic staff/owners. We were staying at the hotel across the street as we were attending baseball games at the nearby London Stadium, so the Greyhound became our natural watering hole. Being from the Midlands, the owners and staff made us feel very welcome and offered so much assistance as we didn't know the area. The cozy beer garden was a welcomed place to unwind on a warm summer evening with reasonably priced and well kept beer. The atmosphere was incredible and everyone was friendly. It may be a 'locals' pub, but when they treat you like one of thier own, you can't ask for anything more. We all actually wished that we were staying longer. Thank you, all at the Greyhound.”
