“This afternoon I was recommended to call Sutton Appliances to replace my broken washing machine (that couldn't be fixed). I called them at 2pm. The lady I spoke with on the phone was so helpful. I ordered the machine, Cliff kindly came 2 hours later and delivered and fitted the new machine and has taken the old one away. Cliff was friendly, polite and thorough. It is very rare nowadays to find people who work to such high standards and deliver amazing customer care - at Sutton Appliances you definitely get this. I am so grateful for their whole service . Thank you so much - I already have a wash on! Don't hesitate to use this wonderful local shop.”

“Absolutely fantastic service from Ben. 100 percent would recommend. If you are looking for an honest, skilled and reasonably priced mechanic in the area look no further. I contacted Ben a few weeks ago with an issue I had with my parking brake. What started out as a small issue turned out to be a huge job as we discovered more and more bits that needed doing. This issue took multiple attempts to fix with different hiccups along the way but he kept at it and got it resolved. Having watched him work I can say with certainty that he is very knowledgeable and is keen to carry out the work to a perfect standard rather than rush and do the bare minimum. Throughout all my interactions with him he was pleasant and polite and acknowledged all my needs and concerns. It is genuinely difficult to find such an honest, hardworking and knowledgeable mechanic these days and from now on I will be contacting Ben with no hesitation when I need any work to be done for my car.”

“Happy to make changes like putting some meat separate and some in a pitta which is really useful, when they are flexible about how the food is given to you and they aren't precious about a set menu. Only thing I'd point out to them is to make sure to use a set of tongs to turn the raw chicken skewers over, and once this is cooked on the outside, move to a different part of the grill and finish it off, by using another pair of tongs. You'd avoid any chance of cross contamination this way. Same goes for the pittas and wraps being warmed up - use another clean pair of tongs to avoid customers having second thoughts about their stomachs getting through the night ok..”

“Almost perfect experience in this barbers today for a beard trim. The barber took the time to listen to what I asked for, and fed back to me what he interpreted. This may seem like a small thing, but it's super important to me. So many barbers I go to do not listen to me fully when I give them instructions. The quality of work was perfect. Very highly skilled barber, and also very careful. No scratching with the razor as some barbers do. Value was brilliant. £8 for a beard trim. Very good value in my experience, especially for a skilled barber. I have no negative comments. The only suggestion I would make is that I wasn't offered the hot towel service and face wash etc. I didn't mind, because I was in a rush, but, it would have been nice to be offered. It is only a little more expensive, but probably well worth the money. Keep up the good work, and keep listening to your customers.”

“I came into Halfords about 20 minutes before closing time looking for a headlight bulb. A team member kindly asked if I needed any assistance, and John came over twice to check in and help me find exactly what I needed. He was very helpful and professional. Once I’d picked out the bulb, John asked if I’d like it fitted, and he quickly arranged for another gentleman to do it. As soon as I stepped outside, the gentleman kindly asked if it was about the headlight and fitted it in no time! I was out in less than 10 minutes. “Delighted with the service from Rob at Kwik -Fit Sutton when I left my car to have a tyre replaced. I forgot to give him the code to switch off the air suspension when I left the car so he couldn't put it on the ramp but he didn't complain when I returned and completed the tyre change quickly, put everything away tidily and even checked all the tyre pressures. “We had to make an emergency appointment after one of our dogs trod on a hornet. It was immediately clear he had a nasty reaction. We were so thankful that we were fitted in to see Sam. She was so good with our nervous rescue dog. He was clearly distressed and in pain, but Sam's gentle and patient approach allowed her to examine him comprehensively. She gave clear guidance about the treatment plan, and we were clear about what to keep under observation over the next few days. Our dog recovered, during the timescale Sam predicted.”
