    Lokanta Bar and Grill

    ★★★★☆ 4.5
    Closed

“We visited Lokanta every single day during our 5-day stay in Greenwich, and it quickly became one of our favorite places. Whether we were stopping by for a quick sigara börek, a glass of Turkish tea, or enjoying an evening out with shisha and drinks, it always felt warm and welcoming. The staff are truly exceptional - from the bartenders to the waitresses, everyone greeted us like old friends. There’s a genuine atmosphere of hospitality here that makes you feel right at home, and when we brought friends along one evening, we were all treated like special guests. The food was always fresh and delicious, and the vibe inside was cozy yet vibrant. Even small touches stood out - the restroom smelled beautifully of roses, which somehow added to the overall charm of the place! If you’re in Greenwich and looking for a spot that combines great food, friendly people, and a welcoming environment, Lokanta is a must-visit.”

    The Jobber's Rest

    ★★★★☆ 4.5

“I visited the Jobbers rest for the first time yesterday and was blown away with the quality of the food. I can probably say that was the best roast dinner I’ve had from anywhere. I had the beef which just melted in your mouth the roast potatoes were crispy and cauliflower cheese was included in the dinner. I also thought it was great value for money for what I received. They had a wide variety of drinks the wine I had was delicious. The waiting staff were good. On the whole a really pleasant experience and would definitely recommend.”

Tony and team were very accommodating as we had a change of numbers The food was good - wish I had the fish instead as the people who had it finished them super quick! “Party of 4 we went for the platter and a couple of extras. Firstly, I loved the atmosphere, buzzing with people who range from dates, friends, colleagues. The sushi came out as when it was ready, which at first I found strange but then was able to enjoy each dish, the taste and texture. The food was LOVELY, sushi bursting with flavour paired nicely with a glass of wine! The cocktails were probably one of the best I have ever tried! It was the first time I tried, Kimchi and I wasn’t disappointed, perfect texture and flavours complemented each other. Their dessert range was lovely, when the doughnuts came out I did think they are tiny but just one had generous amount of pistachio filling and they were HOT! Beautiful. They only loose a star in service as the lady who was looking after our table, I found was lurking around which felt like they wanted us to quickly leave. We were there quite late so they didn’t have anyone waiting for a table.”

“The lovely pub hosted our daughter's 40th Birthday party in the side room off the main bar. We were able to decorate the room and also to have a local guitarist entertain us together with a fab face painter. Our party was able to order yummy food and drinks from the bar. I can't thank Nick and his super staff more. Highly recommend this great pub..”

“Simon and his team were absolutely amazing and so attentive. Despite our large group of 30, they really looked after us and made my grandma’s 80th birthday so special all while juggling several other parties at the same time. They were so busy but nothing was a trouble for them. From the very start, Simon’s communication via email was excellent, making the booking process effortless. The prices are so reasonable, and the food was incredible. we honestly couldn’t pick a favourite dish because everything was delicious. The entertainment was such a lovely touch, with plate smashing, dancing, and a fun conga that got everyone involved. It was a truly special evening that we’ll all remember, and we can’t wait to come back. Huge thanks to Simon and his wonderful team for making it such a perfect celebration”

    Branded Beckenham

    ★★★★☆ 4.4
    Closed

“I had had a busy day about in Bromley and arrived early from that to a reservation I'd made that day for early dinner (18:15). Prices were properly reasonable for such fine dining. The presentation of each course was spot on, I'd even say en place, buuuuut not my element at this time. The maître d' was professional and courteous. I felt a bit under-dressed but braved through and they brought no attention to this and treated me. At some spirit auguery advice, my royal self reluctantly avoided steak this evening, going instead from chef's suggestion menu, the seared scallops and then sea bass. The scallops were grilled, and tender rather than rubbery as I sometimes 'expect' of scallop. I'd had some grilled halloumi around lunch tiem, and joked that scallops would be right out to pair with halloumi. I think there is this. The sea bass were served seared with skin on, and a sweet tomato salsa, with a potato tower of some kind. Service were quiet and excellent. I did not once feel rushed and I NEEEEED to return for some côte de boeuf or rib-eye some day soon. This should be written. I'll be needing dress better suited. Until then, I recommend that you do visit Branded Bromley if you should. ~ Lord Amadea-El, 6 November 2025 35:35 gmt24”

    Sager + Wilde Restaurant

    ★★★★☆ 4.4
    Closed

“We visited Sager and Wilde on Friday early evening, arriving just an hour after opening. Service was great - we had all explanations and attention throughout the evening. Last time we’ve been to Sager+Wilde was 3 years ago and can definitely say it improved since then. We have tried all non-carne plates and all of them were super tasty and creative, crayfish salad to highlight. We decided not to get any desserts as there was nothing with chocolate Generally our experience exceeded expectations and I would heart-fully recommend this place for tapas and wine, just wine or just tapas. Ambience is very romantic and stylish. Thanks again for the wonderful evening and hope to come back soon.”

    Willoughby Arms

    ★★★★☆ 4.4

“Like walking back into the 1970s. But in a good way. Had a couple of pints here with mates last night. The beer selection was a bit bizarre, with lots of porters and stout, but I was quite happy with a pale from Exeter Brewery. The team are super friendly and having left a bag behind, I was amazed when someone not only picked up the phone at 1045, but said they'd found it. The decor is like something from Minder in the early 80s. Terrible lighting in parts but there are areas that are more dimly illuminated. Probably a good thing! There's also a pool table and a couple of darts boards which is awesome. The audio system also sounds like it's on its last legs but I'm sure it's had a good innings! Anyway, who needs music. They had Morris dancers performing in the garden to last night. Definitely pay this place a visit!”

“I recently held a private event at the Railway Pub in Streatham and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Huge thanks to Triveni, who managed my booking so professionally — she was incredibly helpful, organised, and responsive, making the whole planning process completely stress-free. On the day itself, all the staff were brilliant: friendly, attentive, and worked so hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. The venue was perfect, the atmosphere was great, and our guests had an amazing time. I couldn’t recommend the Railway Pub highly enough for private events — outstanding service all round!”

The food (we had pancake) seemed at first scarce but was actually sufficient. The plus is definitely the toilets which are a must see if you can beat the maze. It's a good place to treat yourself.”
