“This is a rather special old inn. We had a wonderful, though very brief, overnight stay with breakfast in the morning, the day after a long road journey. Wound down with a nightcap in the company of James and Jules at the bar; they were great hosts. The room and, in particular, the bed were just superb. The bathroom: everything clean and just as you'd want it. Mary made us a very good breakfast and was also very friendly. It was clear all the staff we met actually care and want their guests to enjoy their stay and be comfortable. Highly recommended.”

“Very nice change to the usual food places in Sevenoaks, and it's not often outside of London you get South American food in my experience. Tried the Arepa Pabellón which consists of shredded beef, black beans, plantain, and grated cheese, in corn bread. Apparently the most popular Arepa that people get. For £10.50 I definitely think it's worth it, as the flavour was excellent and it was jammed full of ingredients! My photography doesn't do it justice! The lady that served me was friendly and music was playing while my food was being prepared. I will definitely be back!”

“Great food here, definitely a cut above the average. We had the sea bass in coconut and lime - excellent -, the „lorry drivers‘“ lamb shank, a chicken dish and channa (spiced up), with pullau and mushroom rice. All very tasty with generous and fresh spices, good portion and imho decently priced. Smiling and attentive service and public parking round the corner. Definitely recommended!”

“This is a hidden gem. The staff are just brilliant. So friendly and welcoming. Welcome nibbles of olives and crisp are given on arrival. 3 course set menu with a good choice and the food is beautiful. The decor is lovely and it’s very charming.”

“We popped in to look at some soft furnishings after previously visiting and having a very happy experience about two years ago.. So thinking we’d have a look about which we did only for the staff to recognise us (from 2 years previously) and be aware of what we had purchased and where we were from.. absolutely outstanding service, the owner should be very very happy with his staff. The service we always receive is second to none. So to be recognised from a previous purchase is fantastic.. Btw the furniture we purchased is still as new… So no need to go to the big furniture companies and be a number, just visit The London Road Furniture Company and feel as an individual and very valued.. “The Oasis has a lovely quiet village cafe feel to it, and has an interesting collection of Showmen and fairground memorabilia, which made it an interesting place to enjoy a meal. My wife and I had a couple of the fried breakfasts, that were cooked very well, with great tasting ingredients, and served by very friendly and happy staff. I'll be visiting this one again.”

“Victoria was such a helpful host at Hurst Farm. I rented all 4 rooms for my wedding party in preparation for my wedding held nearby and I also got ready there in the morning. Victoria was not only incredibly helpful in answering any queries quickly before the booking, but also great once we were there. The rooms were all lovely and the gardens were beautiful - perfect for a morning photoshoot! She provided us a buffet breakfast on the morning of the wedding when we were all getting ready, and she cooked up a delicious cooked English for everyone on the Sunday morning in her kitchen which was such a nice touch. Would definitely recommend booking Hurst Farm!”

“We came to this restaurant for an afternoon tea for my friend's birthday. We were looked after by Dhimant who was very attentive. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were prepared by chef Amro. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant.”

“We’ve had a few pizzas now from several Red Pizza Van and they’re consistently amazing, fresh, tasty flavourful, and clearly made with care. The team is absolutely lovely: always polite, kind, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. If I may offer one small piece of feedback, it’s that the dough it's a little too salty. Just a touch less salt would make an already excellent pizza truly perfect. Thank you for the great food and service, we’ll definitely keep coming back!”

“Popped in as went for a walk nearby to break up a long drive. Lovely quaint place. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). We ordered the french breakfast and the pancakes. Weren't sure what to expect but everything was delicious! Beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Homemade jam was a winner!! Chatted to the owner who has recently taken over. Lovely lady who is clearly passionate about good food and good service. Pinned in the map to visit if we are ever nearby again! Xx”

“I went in today for afternoon tea (cakes and drinks). There were four generations in our party of 8 and we all loved what we asked for. The food is excellent, and the service is super (efficient, speedy and done with a smile on everyone's face). I'm not local to this place (I live up in South Manchester) but have family down this way and will look forward to our next visit here.”

“Our local favourite. My wife and I come here all the time. We’ve had the poke bowl, sushi, and rice bowls. The fish is always fresh, the portions are a good size and it is priced fairly. The staff are really lovely and it’s a simple but nice place to eat in. Sevenoaks doesn’t have many good restaurants but this is an exception. We look forward to our next treat dinner at Nihaw”

“Hidden Gem! So pleased my colleague introduced me to this lovely little coffee shop today! It’s such a cute place with plenty of seating both inside and out. The coffee tastes amazing and is really well made. The lady serving us was very friendly, and the prices are really reasonable too. The food looked delicious, so I’m already looking forward to trying something next time!”
