“I was super impressed with the service from start to finish, from booking my appointment to the actual treatments (builder gel manicure and shellac pedicure). The two ladies who worked there were absolutely lovely and took so much time to ensure my nails looked perfect. Their attention to detail was exceptional, which is rare to find in London - where you often feel rushed in and out. I feel so lucky to have just moved to the area and to have this salon only a minute’s walk from my front door! I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for fitting me in last night!”

“We stayed here for 1 night while spending the weekend in London. The hotel is situated just a couple of minutes walk from Blackfriars station, which serves both the circle and district lines, as well as Thameslink, meaning it's easy to get anywhere in London from here. The room was very clean and spacious. You know what you're getting with a Premier Inn. Bed was comfortable and it was pitch black at night time. We heard no noises from other rooms. It was a very quiet night's sleep. TV has a really wide selection of channels and it worked, which is generally a bonus when staying in a hotel. There's usually an issue with the TV everywhere you go. I'm sure we only paid for a standard room but where put into a Premium room, which came with a Nespresso coffee machine. Great for someone like me who loves a morning coffee. The staff in the hotel were incredibly friendly. One name I'd like to mention in particular is Yusuf, who was working around the reception area. He was so polite and friendly and is an absolute asset to the company. I don't know if anyone reads these reviews, but if you do, please pass this on to management. The only downside to this hotel was the price. Working in the travel industry I understand how and why prices can fluctuate, but the cost of this room increased by £50 overnight, and we ended up paying just over £300 for 1 night's stay, which for a Premier Inn seems a bit excessive, despite the location. We didn't try the food at the hotel as we visited to do shopping and try out the famous food markets. However based on the staff, the room and the location i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting London.”

I’ve been coming here since I was a young teenager, and now in 2025, I can 100% say it’s still the best Lebanese food in London! “Stayed for two nights, thanks to a layover coming home from Italy. Perfect location for short term London visits. Took the Elizabeth train to West End one night and caught a bus to Oxford the next day...both conveniently from Heathrow. Room was plenty big enough and comfortable. Staff friendly throughout the stay. On last morning, went from room through airport security in less than 30 minutes. Will gladly stay here again for one- or two-night visits.”

“The DoubleTree by Hilton is conveniently located near Prince Regent and Pontoon Dock DLR stations, as well as London City Airport. Situated right next to the London Excel and overlooking the Gallions Point Marina, it offers an ideal setting for both leisure and business visitors. My family and I visited for a Christmas get-together meal, and our experience was excellent from the start. The entrance is welcoming, with cheerful and attentive staff ready to assist. Opposite the reception is a mini-store stocked with essential goods, though prices are on the higher side. There are inviting breakout areas for guests who wish to work or have a quiet chat, set apart from the bar and restaurant. These spaces are conveniently located near the spotless, well-maintained restrooms. The spacious bar offers a wide selection of drinks, although port and sherry options were limited during our visit. Depending on the events at the Excel, the atmosphere remains pleasantly peaceful, making conversation easy. Comfortable and plentiful seating adds to the relaxed ambience. The servers were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided excellent hospitality, with a special mention for Lucas. He took the time to clarify menu choices, which was a thoughtful touch. Guests can choose from both bar and restaurant menus, with prices more reasonable than many other London restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the Cajun wings, and was delighted to find that, in addition to sorbet for guests with dietary restrictions, a delicious passion fruit tart was available. Portion sizes for the main courses were generous and satisfying. Even as crowds from the Excel arrived later, the lively atmosphere enhanced the experience without becoming overwhelming. For sports enthusiasts, there is also a large TV for viewing. Overall, I highly recommend visiting for drinks or a meal—it's a standout choice compared to other venues in the area.”
