We did not know this was a BYOB establishment, and when he realized that we’d wished we had known that, he told us to run next door and buy some beers from Aldi - and he saved the table for us! We are Americans and did not know how to properly eat our prawn puri appetizer, so he comically showed us the way. Food was 10/10 delicious. We cleaned our plates - which is rare for us. Maybe we were just hungry from the long day of travel, but I think there is something very special about this place. You will not be disappointed if you visit Akash!”

“Went to Chaii & Spice with my sister and nephew today. The lady was lovely and our food was ready quite quickly. The atmosphere is calm and the board game tables are a nice touch. The food was well priced and had a homely feel, we especially enjoyed the papdi chaat and the karak chaii. Would definitely recommend coming here and supporting this family-owned restaurant.”

“Oh my gosh, this is one of my favourite Asian supermarket in London. This supermarket located in Colindale and it’s really near to where I live, so therefore I don’t have to go to Chinatown to buy any Asian ingredients for cooking. This place has different range of brands from all over Asia. The place is easy to find. All of their stocks are pretty organise and easy to be located. You can find different type of noodles here. My favourite section of this place is the pastry section. My favourite pastry is the mango pancakes and you must try it. The place is pretty clean and hygienic. The staff are super helpful and very friendly, I will definitely come back again to this place. If you live in a local area you’d be saving a lot of time to shop all of your Asian ingredients at this place.”

“Amazing restaurant with kenyan specialities like Mishkaki, kachumbari, ugali, sukuma wiki and a lot more! You can also buy halua, achari, mabuyu and some other non food items from kenya. “Really enjoyed the meal at the Reindeer cafe! They offer traditional canto style dishes at a very high standard. The charsiu was perfectly cooked with a good balance of fattiness and lean meat, with a subtle hint of sweetness from the honey. The roast duck was really tender and flavourful as well. The garlic choi sum was simple but delicious — well seasoned, not stiff or overcooked at all, and you can really taste the wok hei. Our highlight of the meal was the lamb hotpot, it was so tasty and the lamb literally just slides off the bone!! The portion size was generous so I’m glad that we brought some Tupperwares with us, wouldn’t want to waste any of this delicious food!! There’s a bakery in the cafe as well — we’ve particularly enjoyed the coconut peanut 糯米糍(mochi) and the egg tart. And oh! Don’t forget the milk tea too, which was made to perfection and perhaps even better than some of the 茶餐廳 I’ve been to in HK. Will definitely come back again for another meal!!”

The dough was perfect, and the ingredients on the special pizza were incredibly fresh, especially the salty, spicy ,peppers we had as a starter and the staff were very pleasant, though service was a bit slow during a busy period. Despite that, the pizza itself was expertly made in London! Hygiene ,fresh dough, Fast service and fast delivery as well .”
