“Recently stayed in Hounslow for 3 nights, was really impressed with the local Spoons. Had an evening meal and a couple pints when we arrived, and I had a breakfast on 2 of the mornings. Was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. Nice. If ever in the area again would most definitely visit. Enjoy.”

He went above and beyond for us, and when a man started bothering us, Franklyn handled it in the kindest, quickest and most professional way possible. We were super impressed by how calm and caring he was, and it honestly made us feel so safe and looked after. People like Franklyn are rare – he truly made the difference and turned our night into something special. Couldn’t recommend him more! Coming back thanks all to him. “The decor is more akin to an airport pub or a 3 star hotel but it works well and feels spacious and glamorous. The drink prices are amazing even for a spoons. 99p for a Greene King IPA. Highly recommend best pub I've been to in New Malden.”

“Another Wetherspoon where you can sit down quietly, take your time and eat in peace. The staff are excellent as is the service. I tend to go for breakfast only but have been to other Wetherspoons for lunch and dinner when on my travels. Whichever one I go to, they are consistantly good - no, great! Absolutely top marks to the Kingsbury branch - excellent.”

“I ordered the Korean chicken with fries and a drink. It was great. The fries were hot and covered in the sauce (with slight hint of heat) keeping the taste and the structure of the fries was truly amazing. I felt the chicken batter was too thick. But overall it was great. I will definitely be coming in the next few days for breakfast and snacks.”

“I came in this morning and noticed how clean and well organised it was in here today. All menus were placed correctly and the food preparation I really noticed the difference. The food was very enjoyable .”

“I went some folks from work, had such a lovely time. An early Christmas meal out. The food was amazing, very quick to order if you do it via app. The drinks were perfect, cheap and cheerful. Only thing, we unfortunately kept needing to ask staff to clear our finished plates and glasses. And one of the staff was sweet enough to take a group photo, but a different one appeared a bit grumpy throughout the time we were there. But overall, pretty dark good for the price and atmosphere and company, 10/10 would recommend. I think I found my new favourite 'Spoons.”

“Had a great experience at the Wetherspoon in Watford. The ambience was really nice — welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a casual outing. The food was good and reasonably priced, living up to the Wetherspoon standard. The place was clean throughout, and the washrooms were surprisingly well maintained, which isn’t always the case in busy pubs. Overall, the place is aesthetically pleasing and well looked after. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!”

“The Sir Michael Balcon is a solid Wetherspoon pub with a relaxed, spacious layout and a good mix of locals and visitors. The food is affordable and reliable — classic pub grub like fish and chips, burgers, and breakfasts served quickly. The drinks menu is extensive with great value for money, especially on ales and beers. Service is usually efficient, and there’s plenty of seating both for individuals and groups. It’s a convenient place to unwind without breaking the bank. Not fancy, but dependable and welcoming for a casual meal or drink.”

The PM Ellie took time out of her day to describe the perfect ale pairing for my Fish and chips (which might be the best I've EVER had). “Good spoons. Normal in terms of interior. Smoking in the back is a bit odd as some tables are no smoking. The food is normal spoons food but it was cooked hot and tasted nice. Desserts were good too.”

“Update (Dinner) It was our first time to eat dinner here on a Sunday night. It was a little chaotic because there were lots of people drinking but service was still fast. We order lasagna, sirloin steak and burger. All tasted good and really affordable. 2nd time here... It's just a monthly thing. Love there breakfast. I tried the American Breakfast but I would say the English breakfast tasted way better...My daughter loves it.”

“This is my third time going in here and I always had good time and vibes, the staff and the manager are very friendly and professional, We went also in group during the football game(England and Spain) and the servings was still good even if the pub was full, I recommend the chips and the chicken, there is also lots of space outside in the "garden" and inside. Recommend to everyone”
