“Was given a voucher for here as a gift. I had a full body, deep tissue massage with Carmen. Carmen used various techniques to relieve my tension and aches. I like a firm massage and Carmen certainly did that. She did check the pressure was O.K. I have a bad lower back and Carmen did lots to help relieve this. My shoulders were also very tense and Carmen worked her magic. It definitely was a deep tissue massage. I felt great. Afterwards Carmen talked to me about my body and the parts she worked on. “This is a fantastic rehabilitation centre! It has everything you need all under one roof for every part of your rehabilitation and onwards. It is fully accessible for all disabilities. I can't rate this place highly enough for everything they do. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and supportive. It has a WRVS cafe which is open until 2pm each day. Free Wifi Offer transport services for appointments. Which you do need to book in advance. This centre offers: Specialist Rehabilitation Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Prosthetists, Orthotists Postual Care Specialists and Counselling. Physiotherapy Gym, Wheelchair services, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics & Orthotics - casting and fitting rooms for both children and adults, Rehabilitation Counselling. The Manchester Prosthetic User Association and Manchester Wheelchair User Group are based here to offer Peer to Peer support to the centre's users. It also has a great resource area with lots of information and event details from numerous charities - Wheel Power, Limbless Association, Limb Power, Blesma, Reach, MacMillan Cancer Support, ManFit, Age UK, LimbCare and many more. The Ability Matters Store is here too, which stocks disability aids and equipment. The lovely staff can help you find exactly what you need to make your daily routine easier. Plus plenty of accessible car-parking.”

He was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease in February and we’d already booked two holidays so we knew he’d have to go to a cattery. “Ive been going to this gym for over a year now. I first started when i was 6 months postpartum and from my first session to my last, i have loved every single one. I first started having one to one training with kate who helped me rebuild muscle and recover from having an emergency csection. Not only did kate help me with physical training but she also helped me with my diet and helped me make life long changes that will help with my weight and to make me stronger and healthier. Then i started going to the mums and babies classes on Wednesdays.the coaches and the owner Jay always make so much effort to keep my little one busy whilst i work out. They bring in different health professionals for the classes that educate us on postpartum recovery which has been great. The gym is always spotless clean and always feels like a safe space which i love because my daughter loves adventuring round the gym. I love the friendly environment of the gym and can not recommend it enough.”
