“The room was very clean and comfortable, basic amenities, bed very comfy. The house keeping was very good. The location for MRI hospital could not have been better. 10 minutes walk away. Local amenities good, petrol station, tesco, subway etc. Parking at the back of the travel lodge at a very reasonable price.”

“Just excellent. I stayed one night to work locally. My bag was lost on the flight up, the hotel staff were super friendly and helped me with a few bits. Great breakfast also. When things go wrong it comes down to how people help and assist you. I would definately stay again. Many Thanks”

“There are hotels, and there are hotels, right? Equally, there are hotel staff, and there are hotel staff, with me so far? Well, the hotel does what it should, it’s clean, comfortable, well equipped and superbly located (if central Manchester is where you want to be?), so far so good! Now the staff, what a treat to be served so well by everyone, from the courteous cleaners that smiled and represented the company well, to the bar / reception staff that went above and beyond, really well done. In particular, the wonderful Nicole, service with the most wonderful smile and utterly professional, Accor, are you reading this ? She’s management material in the waiting right under your noses!! Dominic too was professional, smiling and uber efficient, the pair of them working together like a Swiss clock, effortless and confident, that’s how we guests like it, a big no, a Huge thanks for the stay! It gets another “Arnie” - a I’ll be back!”

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome—they were incredibly friendly, warm, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their kindness really stood out and added a personal touch to my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, offering everything I needed for a restful night. The location was ideal too, with easy access to the city’s attractions and transport links. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay, thanks in large part to the lovely team at the hotel. “Everything was as I expected for the style and location of an affordable hotel within a reasonable distance to the airport. Nothing fancy, but well maintained and had everything we'd needed. The front desk staff was very helpful and offered suggestions for where my husband could watch a "very important football game" (isn't every game important. lol) as well as restaurant options if we were wanting to eat outside of the hotel. We would definetly stay here again.”

“What a great place! Our house rabbit enjoyed his ‘holiday’ with Jane. All the animals are very well cared for, and the standard of cleanliness is very high. The outdoor runs provide opportunity for exercise. We would definitely recommend!”

“The best place for your fur babies ever, cath looks after them like they are her own ( she has a few of them also) our boy loves it there, and if you want to get in, you have to book really early as she's always full. Five star treatment all the way.”

“Daryl & Paul are fantastic with their furry and feathery holiday guests. Our budgies have stayed with them a few times and always look healthy and happy. The pet housing is immaculate and so well thought through with layout and hutches/cages.”

“Stayed here recently with family and small dog. Loved the decor and comfort of this house. Comfy bed and well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and warm and cosy. Located in a quiet cul de sac with parking. Owners very responsive when messaged and very helpful.”

Cheryl looked after my cat Maxie for a week whilst I was on holiday and did a wonderful job. “Our lurcher Daisy loves Andy and running with his dog Goldie. She so enjoys her walks with him and has also had a few overnight stays with him when I’ve been away. Andy seems to genuinely care for the dogs he walks. Highly recommended.”

“I would highly reccomend Debbie. She is so lovely and approachable and genuinely cares for your pet. She walks my dog 3 times a week around all the local areas he loves. We regularly receive pictures and updates after the walks and he is always happily exhausted when we return from a long day at work. 5* and a great big 'Woof' from our Labrador Ollie”

“Myself, daughter and dog recently stayed 2 nights at Travelodge Central Manchester on 17th - 19th August 2021. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was lovely to 'get away from it all'. The only disappointing thing about the room was, there was no hand wash in the bathroom and the pedal bin didn't work.”

“Overall, a good place to rest in Manchester. Despite the necessity of a new face and a general cleaning, the hotel offers comfortable beds, quiet rooms, and the staff there was very friendly! Moreover, the price was very affordable being an hotel near the city centre (5 min walking).”

“Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were outstanding and hospitable, the bar next to the lobby had a welcoming, cozy feel, wonderful menu and lovely rooms. I'm not sure about some of the complaints on the size, it seemed average to me, but it was very clean which is high on my importance list, as was the rest of the hotel. This hotel is away from the city bustle a bit, but a lot of trees around the property make it very relaxing and a pleasure to escape the traffic. My only feedback is the vegan sausage in the morning was freezer burned and a little bland, they can be tossed in oil & seasoning to add flavor, but fresh/defrosted is best. My veg pizza was wonderful, so was the veg burger. Great buffet in morning. Outstanding staff professionalism in housekeeping and lobby.”

“Don’t believe the bad reviews. Hotel is clean, breakfast is good value, location is good. Tram stop behind pub. Very convenient. Lovely pub serving food across the road beside tram stop. Avoid the pizzeria next door to hotel. Good car park just seconds from reception. Shortage of power sockets in rooms, bring a power strip. Lovely staff. I will return.”
