“What a place! The location, the decor, the welcome, the staff, the service and of course the food all out of this World. Warm welcome, knowledgeable sommelier who exudes positivity and tells you a fabulous story about the wine, I could listen to him all day. The food is served and explained and is of an exquisite nature. I often don’t even read the ingredients and just try it - and I’m never disappointed. You’d be surprised how small dishes can fill you so much. A fabulous place, and a credit to Simon Wood. We will be back again and again.”

“This is an absolute treat! Instead of being in France due to industrial action, we sought to bring France to us and so glad we did. The food was high quality and in comfortable surroundings. Steak tartare as good as I have ever had (minus the egg yolk, because this in Britain!). A touch on the pricey side, but in this particular case, you do get what you pay for. Very good”

“We stayed at Native Manchester for one night and I would definitely stay here again. For the price, it felt like excellent value compared to other options in the area, especially considering the size of the studio and the quality of reviews. Communication was seamless, I received WhatsApp updates throughout my journey, from details about the room number and PIN code to notifications that the room was ready and a reminder for check-out. The process was essentially self-service, though there is a reception available if needed. I found the whole system very streamlined and convenient. We parked at Dale Street car park, which cost around £20 for 24 hours, and from there it was just a short walk to the hotel. The building itself is really impressive, it used to be a cotton factory, and they’ve done a great job blending the original industrial character with modern design. We booked a studio apartment, which came with a bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom had towels and toiletries (shampoo and shower gel), while the kitchen had all the day-to-day essentials, plus tea, coffee, and even a small bottle of milk in the fridge. There was also an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer in the room. The bed was very comfortable, big, and overall, the space felt well thought out and homely. One small piece of feedback from my partner is that a larger mirror, or a mirror in better lighting, would have been useful for doing hair and makeup. As well, it would have been useful if there was some tissues, like kitchen roll etc. All in all, the studio had everything we needed, the atmosphere was great, and I would happily recommend Native Manchester to anyone visiting the city.”

“I was delightfully surprised with this stay. The building looks a little drab outside but inside it was a delight. From the warm and friendly staff, to the welcoming lobby, our room was clean and comfortable. Our bed was big and comfortable, the shower provided good hot water and we loved the twirling water shower head. It couldn't be positioned better, in good reach of restaurants, theatre, shopping and Manchester Arena. Excellent breakfast (just not a fan of the powdery scrambled egg!) All in all, enjoyable stay and we will be back.”

“Wow. This has to be one of the best cafes I’ve ever been to! It’s located in the Northern Quarter (Manchester) and it’s situated in an urban area. When you walk inside, you are greeted with a calming fountain and a beautiful atmosphere, just as calming as the fountain. You talk to the staff, who are very nice and kind (10/10) and order your drink (if you want). There is also a wide array of affordable food, you can get cakes, chapatis and quesadillas as well. I ordered Karma Cola (sugar-free) which doesn’t taste like any other cola, it tastes better. The cola isn’t too sweet as well, compared to other colas. You explore around the cafe, curiously, and find the Library. Now, this library is the calmest library I’ve ever been to. Shelves are filled with books and the room is painted in an ambient brown, making it feel even more calming. You look around the library, head to toe in a sense of tranquil. No music is played here. It’s very quiet. You leave the cafe satisfied and calm. Overall, you need to try this cafe, it’s great. The staff are nice, it is affordable, drinks are high quality and if you are looking for a cafe where you can study or just relax, this is the right place for you.”

“Thank you to Lewis Danny , Leon and the the whole team for such a welcoming stay - I could have stayed all week with a team like that , like are an absolute credit to your establishment. Leon served me in the restaurant. He was kind , warm , understanding , knowledgeable , helpful , professional, but above all else his service was exemplary, second to none! I have never met such customer service in a very long time , of this level , and how refreshing to meet someone that loves what they do , and has a positive attitude in all their work. Promote him very soon, or I'll be honest you are missing a trick here , and definetly do not let him move to another hotel. Danny was kind , warm so so welcoming & answered every question I had promptly & efficiently. “You get what you pay for is it a Hilton no but it’s cheap central and comfy. The room was clean no complaints easy access 24/7 reception. Hot water and nice staff. If your coming for WHP or and concerts it’s cheap and it does the job. DO NOT SHARE A ROOM WITH SOMEONE YOU NOT COMFORTABLE BEING NAKED AROUND the shower isn’t in a separate room. However, if your good mates or in a relationship and looking for a cheap nights stay that’s clean and has a bed it’s the place.”
