“Our dog had a mysterious limp which turned out to be elbow dysplasia. We had a few appointments with Steve at MVS referred over from our usual vet. Steve was professional and personable, thorough with his assessment and set out a number of options but without pushing any in particular so we could make the choice we felt was appropriate. I brought my bmw 3 series in with a really bad power/misfire issue after calling up the afternoon before, they diagnosed and fixed it within 3 hours, they was so honest about what the issue was and the price was so much cheaper than what I thought I’ll be paying. I came here based on the good reviews on their honesty, and it’s hard to trust any sort of car mechanics/garage. I was over the moon my car was fixed so fast and so cheap. If you’re looking for a trustworthy garage that doesn't overcharge then I couldn’t recommend these enough. Thank you once again”

“Had root canal treatment performed which obviously very anxious about , however found this treatment was performed very skilfully , by Mr. Charlesworth and Charlotte (dental nurse, a great team). The administration of the local anaesthetic in itself was pain free , was very impressed with the teamwork and felt totally at my ease . I was reassured and received individualised care with very good explanation of the procedure involved . I would not hesitate to recommend this dental specialist to anyone needing root canal treatment . Thank you”

“My husband was recently discharged from the care of Prof Ben Grey following surgery for removal of a kidney stone. We felt very fortunate to have a surgeon so outstandingly skilled and experienced as Prof Grey. He took time to explain our options very clearly so my husband felt able to make well-informed choices about his treatment. Prof Grey was always positive and caring which lifted our spirits throughout. Prof Grey's secretary, Nicola, was tremendous: always approachable and very efficient; often a detailed letter summarising our discussions and next steps would have popped up in our email by the time we had arrived home from our consultation. We highly recommend Prof Grey and the Manchester Urology Group.”

“We've just picked our dog Stitch up from her second stay at Springbank Farm Kennels. Can't thank Niamh and the staff enough for looking after her. Thanks also for the little updates whilst we were away. I don't know what magic they weave whilst we're away but Stitch is a fussy eater at home ( my fault for being too soft with her giving her treats etc) but when we come home her appetite is fantastic. We will most definitely be using these wonderful Kennels again and can't recommend them enough 10/10”

“Adam from South Manchester Heating did a superb job for us last week. This involved diagnosing and fixing the problem with our central heating. Adam called Worcester Bosch for us to explain the problem for them to come and check out the boiler (the next day!). Adam the replaced the pump and isolation valves (without draining the system!) and is also helping us sort out problems with our kitchen underfloor heating which has never worked properly. I have tried many other companies but trust the knowledgeable and experienced team at SMH to understand and sort the problems out. Highly recommended. Great job, thanks very much!”

“Good and honest mechanic. I once took my car here because it was making a scraping sound. They took it in and called me back saying it was just a stick stuck on the under carriage and didn't charge me anything. Been going to them ever since and they've always been great.”

“Lovely aparthotel right next door to Piccadilly train station. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds were really comfortable. Everything you need for a break away.”

“Visited 2/2/26. As a Disabled customer and I went on my own Firstly the hotel and restaurant are fully accessible. The entrance has a lift from street level and a button to call staff for assistance to operate the lift. Staff are very accommodating. There's a lift to the basement where the studio bar and lounge is located, it a jazz and singer style bar. Sophia was the most friendly and professional of bar tender The restaurant is a classic American bistro but in a refined and chic way and the food was succulent and favourful. The meat was *chef kiss. I highly recommend this place but male sure you book in advance.”
