“I cannot recommend Heaton Park View enough. After having a 7 year gap between the last children, I was extremely nervous to start sending my then 8 month old to nursery after not having the greatest experiences previously, but how different it has been this time around! From the start the staff at HP (especially Tiny Lambs) were super friendly, informative and settled baby girl into the setting really well and quickly. She never really ‘cried’ going in and though we still had to build up that confidence - the separation anxiety was never as bad as I remember. Now, after being there for 6 months she knocks on the door to get in the room in the morning, comes home singing lots of wonderful songs with actions - and even cries when we have to take her home from nursery! It’s so lovely to see and drop your child off knowing they enjoy the environment they are in - and that’s down to all the wonderful staff. Honestly if you are an anxious parent, this nursery is the one for you. They always go above and beyond. From having cute countdown themed days over Christmas to planning fabulous activities daily for the children to enjoy. I even had a little picture and a message on my first day back from maternity leave and it’s just little thoughtful, amazing communication like this that sets this setting apart from the rest by miles!”

The Maunder’s School of Popular Music provides a welcoming and supportive environment. My teacher- Neil, is talented, patient, and great at simplifying strumming patterns and chords. Highly recommended for learners of any age!”

“Our little girl attends 2 days a week and absolutely loves it! We’ve found that the staff have been professional and caring at the same time, making the transition to our daughter attending nursery a smooth one. They cater to her individual likes and needs and we know she is in good hands with people who genuinely know and care about her. The initial consultation with Natalie was a real pleasure as she took time to explain things clearly without being pushy at all, something that we found did happen when we viewed other nurseries. We would recommend this nursery to anyone, but especially those who are nervous about putting a child into nursery for the first time.”

“I have been taking my 26 months old to the toddler session run by Ellen for past 8 months , she loves it and looks forward to it every single week. She has learned so much over these past months. She had her 2 year development check and the health visitor was pleasantly surprised that she could jump with both her feet above the ground all by herself at this young age. All thanks to Ellen’s effort, she puts so much thought into each session , it has really paid off.”

“My son attended LSC Thorn Grove for a multisports holiday club and it was the first time he's ever been to any kind of summer camp provision before. He absolutely loved it and raved about trying out all the different sports. It was a great introduction to some new sports like dodgeball and cricket and he learned a lot. There were lots of other children there from his reception class which I think really helped. We'll be booking him in this summer for a few days too.”

“The most nurturing dance school with exceptional training, exceptionally caring teachers and a standard of dance education that is second to non. So very thankful for all CPA do for my daughter and seeing how much she has flourished under their care, training and guidance during the past 3 years has been a joy to see. We travel quite a distance to attend CPA, but is worth every mile and cannot recommend enough. My daughter is now going onto attend the Classical Pathway Btec course at CPA and we are over the moon that this is an option for dancers leaving school wishing to consider a career within this industry. Central performing arts truly is a magical place where a child’s love of dance is inspired by teachers who really do have their best interests at heart, in addition to being industry professionals who have themselves worked or are still working/performing. Truly inspirational dance school and dance community.”

“My daughter has attended the dance school for 9 years and currently takes classes 5 days per week. It’s her home from home and she thoroughly enjoys the challenge of the classes and the interactions she has with her teachers and classmates. The variety of class types available is great, including musical theatre which my daughter loves. The encouragement and careful teaching has allowed my daughter to excel and progress through grades gaining high marks at each step. The highlight of our Summer is always the week of Summer School!”

“Turners is an amazing school. We travel across the Pennines to be apart of this wonderful professional dance school. My daughter has danced at turners for several years and has gained not only friendships but awards and has been given ample opportunities and experiences. They treat their students with respect and praise and put everything in to achieving such high standards. Highly recommend dance school with amazing teachers.”

“I joined Rachel Stanton School of Dance recently after having many years of ballet background, and I dance more confidently due to Rachel’s amazing teaching, the ballet classes are very comfortable and you can tell Rachel is very passionate about teaching. She is currently in a show organised by Golden Dance Studios themselves called ' Step into Broadway' at The Royal Northern College of Music. I went to see the performance last night and was astounded at how amazing the dancers all were. Very well organised professional business. Would definatley recommend.”

“My daughter has been coming here for a year now doing Ballet on Saturday, 45 minute class. She really enjoys her classes with Miss. Emily and Miss Jenny. We absolutely loved the Great Showman performance in the Parr Hall. She loved her beautiful sparkly costume and dancing on the stage. Initially she did not know anyone and now she chats to Jennys mum as she helps her with her muddy football boots and shin pads, (as she come straight off the pitch to ballet) she says her own name for the register and skips into class with a smile. The little things matter and the friendly atmosphere helps her to thrive. I am hoping that the twins will be able to join Little crew shortly. Highly recommended x”

“My son attended Bright Futures for almost 3 and a half years up until starting school. He absolutely loved the nursery and I cannot fault them. He received not only amazing care but his confidence and skills flourished. Hayley, Angela and Lauren really care about the children and this is reflected through the whole nursery. He left confident and ready for primary school and they’ve certainly helped with that!”

“Since starting at the nursery over a year ago my 2 girls have come on in leaps and bounds.There are so many educational and fun activities that are incorporated into the nursery routine.The children even do yoga!! My girls come home everyday singing and in a cheery mood. The staff really take the time out to get to know and understand the wants and needs of the children individually and as a group and commuinication with myself and father has been very good.Would highly recommend this nursery.”

“This was my second visit here and it's safe to say they've both been my best visits to a dentist. Tamara, my dentist is lovely. I suffer from an extreme fear of the dentist due to a bad experience as a kid and every time I've been to the Didsbury Dental Lounge I've always felt calm. The staff are wonderful and patient with you and treat you with the up most respect. I definitely recommend coming here as when I arrive for my appointments I tend not to have my pre appointment anxiety .”

“Went to watch Cinderella over the Christmas period. The cast were brilliant and the script very well written. As others have mentioned, the ugly sisters were the stars of the show with lots of interaction with the audience. Overall, very good value for money on the initial purchasing of tickets and what the play delivered. I wasn't sure on the parking arrangements and it appears limited where you can park but there were some spaces behind and around the row of shops. We caught the bus to the local precinct and walked the 10 minutes so that is a viable option. The venue itself has food and drink on sale that is very reasonably priced and you can pay both with cash and card. It is a small venue that until recently I did not know even existed. It's intimate and seating, while seen better days, was adequate and even after the near 3 hours being there, was not feeling uncomfortable. Overall, an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon with family”

“Went to see STUART MICHAEL. Would definitely recommend! It was my first ever show of this kind. It was packed out! Would suggest getting there at least half hour before any show starts to get a carpark space behind the theatre.”

“Our daughter started at Fisherfield Nursery last September after receiving many recommendations from other parents. She has done a full year there now and we couldn't recommend it enough. She settled in wonderfully, and we feel so reassured by the care and attention she receives. The staff are approachable and accommodating, always ready to address any questions we have. It's been lovely to receive daily updates, including photos of her happily participating in various activities. We have also had the opportunity to spend time with her in nursey during special events that they have held. She is thriving, and it’s clear that the nursery provides a nurturing and engaging environment for her to do so.”

“Little ways is a wonderful nursery, and a seminal influence on my daughter. She has loved attending so much, has developed loads and describes the staff as her friends. I am always in awe of the range if activities they do, eg washing pumpkins, trips to Manchester museum and sports days!”

“My son Oliver has been attending Aura music Academy for several years now learning to play drum (acoustic). He attended a couple of different taster sessions so he could decide where he wanted to learn and chose Aura. He has had a few different tutors along the way but has connected well with them which is important for him to engage fully. Regular updates on the school and lesson notes shared so we can see how he continues to progress.”

“Paintpots is an amazing nursery. My little boy has settled in well and has flourished due to their care and attention that they provide daily. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I receive a report at each term end with my little boys progress and a daily report on the app to highlight the daily activities and foods that he has eaten. On pick up I get a run down verbally of how he has been, which is very reassuring that they are looking after him and monitoring him all the time. I would highly recommend paint pots nursery. I understand how important it is to place your child at the right nursery and feel confident that they are being looked after. I can't praise the pre school room members of staff enough, they are truly amazing!”

“Initial swim school is an amazing place to learn to swim or keep up the practice. The instructor are patient and knowledgeable and help you with every step until your comfortable. The swimming pool is a good length and the environment is good.”
