“It’s been quite a while since I have last visited, and the quality of absolutely everything has not dipped in the slightest. The place is always clean and clear, with a comfortable atmosphere and welcoming owners serving fresh food and kind, sincere service. I highly recommend visiting for breakfast or lunch whenever you are available - you will enjoy the experience. But you may have to schedule your visit if you plan on afternoon tea - it can be busy for good reason!”

“What a fabulous place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We visited last Saturday for breakfast. It was super cold, but we cosied up in a little hut with a wood burner, cushions and blankets and a stunning view (dress warmly). The drinks were divine and food delicious. Great value too, £50 for four of us. Perfect!”

“Our church family from St Paul's with St John's United Reformed Church, Abbey Hey, visited this new venture today and what a pleasure it was to do so. The place itself is spotlessly clean and light and airey. The staff are amazing! So friendly and helpful. Can't do enough for you. The menue offers a great choice and the food was delicious. “I had the wonderful opportunity to visit federal market over the weekend with my sister. There was a small line but we were welcomed with hot chocolate and a wonderful greeting which made it feel like a much shorter wait. As we sat, I was greeting kindly by our waiter as we roughly scanned through the menu with only one thing in mind, French Toast. As the french toast arrived, I was astonished and amazed at the presentation. A nice strawberry syrup almost circling the french toast. Taking my first bite, the soft and pillow-like toast mixed with the not so overly sweet whipped cream and strawberry jam that really worked with well together with the acidity of the fresh fruit cutting through the richness. Every bite was consistent with that same taste as the first bite which I believe is crucial in any dish. The place was vibrant and welcoming with a nice atmosphere. Music even playing at the perfect volume where you can speak to the people with you and still enjoy it. 100% my new favorite spot here in Manchester. Recommend everyone to try the french toast.”

“Absolutely hidden gem cafe in Stockport with good price. All the food source from the best in local farms. My son Luke loves the sausages so much and so am I. The other favorite is the mushroom soup, fresh made and creamy. If you want some dessert, I would highly recommend the Victoria sponge and fresh made pancake.”

“I love it at Mellors, I go near enough everyday! Mellors toast it ICONIC! I love coming into Mellors, it really is a community feel, always welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble! I love it so much all my students have now started to go before classes! Perfect place for meetings, dinner or even a catch up.”

“I can't comment on food as I've only ever bought drinks and ice cream tubs from here but the food does look delicious! This is the only place I think I've ever been to where the staff are young but excellent at their jobs! They're all so polite and professional. There was a young lad on the till on Sunday who was so confident at what he was doing, gave eye contact, excellent customer service and just brilliant all round to he point my own 15year old pointed out how good he was at his job. A credit to the business and his parents.”
