“I’ll start my review by saying that I’ve eaten at all the so called ‘best Indian Restaurants’ locally and to be fair there are a few good ones but often victims of their own success. However, in my opinion, Spice Bistro is up there amongst the best and from the meals I’ve eaten, it is by far the best Indian Restaurant around the Tameside and Glossop area. The meat they serve is so very tender, full of flavour and simply melts in your mouth and this is complimented by the curry sauces which have so much flavour they make you drool. The portion sizes are exceptional because they are thick and not full of oil or watery sauce and if you order a takeaway the foil container is full to the top. I can’t compliment the quality of the food enough…….it is that good. As a side note, the staff are incredibly polite, helpful and chatty but most important they are humble and respectful and this creates a happy vibe around the restaurant. If you have not eaten here before, believe me it will become your no. 1 go to restaurant for a curry. The cost of a curry from here is similar to a kebab from a takeaway and my only regret is that I haven’t eaten from here more often. The restaurant is not the biggest in the world but that’s a bonus as it allows the staff to look after their customers and give them an enjoyable experience. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough!”

“What a fabulous place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We visited last Saturday for breakfast. It was super cold, but we cosied up in a little hut with a wood burner, cushions and blankets and a stunning view (dress warmly). The drinks were divine and food delicious. Great value too, £50 for four of us. Perfect!”

“Family run & extremely friendly pub, great atmosphere and they have a fantastic function room and cater for functions held there. Beer garden to the front for when the weather is good and they even have a pool room. Would recommend this pub all day long..”

“Great pub, great food. Been here a few times to dine all of which were great, most recently yesterday. Staff are friendly and helpful and always accommodating. The pub area is dog friendly with a log fire warming the pub, the restaurant is in the conservatory. Not been in the beer garden but it looks very spacious. The food is slightly more expensive than other pubs however the quality of food, venue and service justify this fairly.”

Muisc not to loud Has a nice space for extra customers to sit down Not just bottoms floor They aldi have disability access to That good. They have allergy warnings in place for customers as well Last bit not least Ask the company to fit Live streaming service in there Yoy get people across the world watching you service customers Twitch channel has tire 1 to tire 3 and twitch bits that 50/50 YouTube has subscribers to super chat YouTube super chat from £1 to £150 Just little idear for cafe to show what it like irl ( in real life) streams online It also great way for staff communicate to speak to there fans online while working Joshua Massey aka Jprincemassey Nice area as well Cross the road from jolly Carter pub So you not far from bus stop to hattersley or 201 bus go that way. There was no Turkey available on the Christmas menu, but there were plenty of other options available so we chose Gammon. The food was excellent quality and so delicious. “I went to Java after parkrun with a couple of park running friends. It was recommended by the team at Hyde parkrun and I can see why. There’s a really good range of food and drink available, and the prices are very reasonable indeed. We each had a really tasty, freshly baked pain au raisin, and one friend had the scrambled eggs on toast. This, along with three hot drinks, came in under £14. The service was first class, and they kindly replace one of the drinks I managed to spill. There’s only limited seating inside, but plenty of space outside. Highly recommended.”

“Never been here before but there was a band playing that we wanted to see. Great that some pubs are still willing to have live music. Really busy but the staff were excellent so no problem getting served. Although there was a choice of bitters it's a shame that there was no cask ale. A good looking pub and a friendly atmosphere and the band were brilliant so a really enjoyable Saturday night.”

“Hosted a games night for our running club in the free function room upstairs. Such a beautiful room with original features. We only had chip butties but they were really good, we even got some salad & cakes thrown in and the napkins were super cute! Lisa was super helpful when trying to organise.
