“Amazing home cooked food, such great balanced flavours and truly delicious, healthy menu. Tasted like real Eastern European cooked in the home, which is actually what the lovely host told us: all cooked by his wife. Unbelievable desert, nothing was too heavy, but rich and layered tastes. Wine didn't disappoint either. Looking forward to trying again!”

“My first time at Everyman and I was blown away by the fantastic customer service. As soon as we arrived we were wonderful greeted and shown a table before we waited for the screen to be open. A lovely guy with a beard and glasses came and sat to take our order - I couldn’t get over how incredibly friendly and polite he was. The service was worth every penny and the food was delicious.”

“A nice fine dining restaurant with absolutely delicious food. We visited the restaurant for lunch and it was an amazing experience. There are various options for both vegetarian and non vegetarians. “Had an amazing time at Hawksmoor Manchester. The team’s hospitality was spot-on — friendly, genuine, and made us feel really well looked after. Started the evening with a few cocktails at the bar, which were fantastic. The steak was the real highlight — perfectly cooked medium rare, juicy, and full of flavour. Honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long while, and I’ve been to quite a few steakhouses! Lovely ambience too — perfect for a relaxed date night.”

“Loveliest of places. To work, relax, feel welcomed, learn from experts in one of the most laid back, informed and genuinely passionate and inclusive fun ways possible. Great pouring selection and lovely tables and layout inside and out. You feel totally at home as a solo customer, working or reading and relaxing. Wish I’d discovered before this year but making up for it now.”

“A gem, truly. Both bar and shop are tremendous, offering a range of brilliant beers and superb wines at range of prices. Well priced, interesting draft beer as well as being a pleasant place to pass time. What's not to like.”

“Great spot for always having at least one gluten free beer on tap, usually a couple. I'm a big fan of when they've got locals like Brightside. Generally a good atmosphere whenever I come. Sometimes a lot busier than others, probably event related as it's very close to a number of live venues. That said, I can often find a seat in the second, quieter room pictured below. I would appreciate GF food options, but I understand this is exceptionally difficult considering they do pizzas. The music is almost never particularly loud, which means you can always converse. The only setback would be that some of the beers can be pricey, but this is absolutely to be expected given they are quality craft beers rather than mass products, and I say this is one of the few spots where it's worth it”

“Cocktails were 10/10!! It’s hard to make a delicious Pornstar Martini but they so good we went back for seconds!! Lovely atmosphere and our server V was very friendly and made the best cocktails! Cant wait to go back! So good to have a local fab cocktail bar!!”

“A relaxed yet elevated dining experience, the team here are definitely focused on delivering not only a fine dining tasting platter but also engaging the customer in the journey of the food and wine. It was such a relaxed experience even though you are literally in the kitchen and watching how they prepare and deliver your food. The food may seem small but the flavour certainly packs a punch and if you really want yo elevate your experience then get the wine pairing and enjoy the delicate and robust flavours that it brings to the dining.”

“I've never left a review for anything before but I was so blown away by this experience, I felt I should leave one. The food was incredible, I had the king prawns, tenderstem broccoli and spinach but would recommend all dishes. The drinks were delicious and the service was flawless. “This is an absolute treat! Instead of being in France due to industrial action, we sought to bring France to us and so glad we did. The food was high quality and in comfortable surroundings. Steak tartare as good as I have ever had (minus the egg yolk, because this in Britain!). A touch on the pricey side, but in this particular case, you do get what you pay for. Very good”

“Fabulous wine bar in a wonderful part of Manchester. Small but well-chosen selection by the glass, and an utterly fantastic range by the bottle (from around the world). You can even use a tasting card with a wine dispenser! The space has seating both inside and out, and they also offer a selection of small bites to enjoy alongside your drinks. Highly recommend stopping by for a glass (or two)!”

“Staying at Mercure Manchester Piccadilly was a fantastic experience! Raj, Kostia, and Ellie at the front desk were truly outstanding—welcoming, attentive, and incredibly efficient. From arrival to departure, everything was handled smoothly and with a genuine smile. The reception team made every interaction pleasant and easy, always ready with helpful information and quick solutions. The hotel itself is spacious, clean, and very well looked after, with rooms that are tidy, comfortable, and hygienic. Overall, a wonderful stay made even better by the professionalism and warmth of the front desk team! this”

“A lively rock bar selling great food and drinks. Great decor, neon signs and some good rock tunes playin too. We went for a rock n roll bingo night, you get tickets online ours were £12 each. Its unreserved seating so if your in a group get there early. Its a really great night, winning free shots and dancing yo the tunes.”

“Wow! This place reminds me of walking in to the likes of Pacha in Spain for the first time, the music pumping and the smoke acting as a barrier between the real world and club land. Tech house was the flavour of the night, and my god it tasted good! What an epic deviation of the norm, I could've literally thrown shapes all night in here! Could this place be the venue that puts Preston back on the clubland map? I think so!!!”

“Lovely place, right next to Heaton Park metro. Only had a brew and a cake but it’s spacious, light and airy, with nice, big booths and a sunny back yard (looks like a good set up for DJ’s too) Coffee was good, sweet stuff was from Silver Apples, so pretty familiar and more than decent quality. Staff were super friendly. Will definitely head back and try some proper food and drinks soon”

“I visited The Oxnoble on a Sunday with a friend who had been before for their Sunday roast. She mentioned the concept had changed a bit, but regardless, the Sunday roast was absolutely delicious! Our waiter, Sean, was super friendly and made the experience even better (he recommended the cauliflower chees and OMG soo good). I would definitely recommend The Oxnoble to anyone visiting Manchester for the weekend!”

A special mention to Rob who went above and beyond for my family, making sure all the food and drinks were ok (I can confirm they were delicious).
