“Well Pharmacy is no longer at the Co-Op but is on High Street West, opposite The Norfolk Arms. Have had no problems in my 7 years here in Glossop. Trustworthy & staff are excellent.”

“Staff are great, local and convenient, a touch high on price and when you consider if you went to Glossop the items would be cheaper but the fact it's convenient I suppose you pay for that.”

“Update: I first reviewed 3 years ago (see below), we live locally and still come here including tonight and again the food was lovely and even my fussy partner was happy with his dishes. Tarka daal was outstanding, chicken tikka tender, breads competently made. Very surprised at the bad reviews, noticed many are takeaway, we usually dine I'm and it's always been a good experience. Staff are also really lovely, we were put off by a really noisy group and they went to some trouble to set up the upstairs for us. Also offered us a bigger more comfortable table downstairs initially, even though it was fairly busy on a Friday night. So what one reviewer said about being made to sit at the smallest table is not the case now. Nice relaxed place to have a great quality curry at a reasonable price. Just to point out to another reviewer slating the food for not being authentically Indian: the restaurant is Bangladeshi, not Indian. The flavours are well balanced and nans cooked to perfection - fresh and fluffy soft with some browned bits. Samosas are large and taste freshly made, definitely above average quality. Fish dishes especially recommended, really tender. I've eaten here lots and with various people, and we've hardly even had a dish we've not been completely happy with. The staff make an effort and have a sense of humour.”

“As of 26/04/25 food is excellent. Chicken vermicelli was extremely tasty and the mixed veg in oyster sauce supreme. Very pleased and at a good price. Don't change the recipe. Yum”

“We found the design process easy and informative, and compared to other kitchen providers the cost was transparent upfront, no Wren style 80% off sale that ends if you walk out the door without signing, and this transparent pricing helped us decide the right value mix for our budget. There were some issues on delivery but after a little prodding e-kitchens now appear to be working hard to resolve these. I give 5* on the basis that the after-sales care will continue to focus on replacements. If circumstances change then I'll update the review. Overall, if you are looking for a competitively priced kitchen that arrives preformed with soft close doors fitted then e-kitchens is recommended.”

“Chloe is absolutely fab - she’s really careful and thorough when doing treatments and will always tailor if you need it, e.g. for sensitive patches or breakouts. She’ll talk through everything and gives tips and guidance when you want it. She’s so friendly and professional, it’s always a super positive experience and given the results you get it’s also great value for money. Have been going to her for a couple of years now and can’t imagine going elsewhere! Highly recommend x”

He was a very eco friendly kind of guy, so Faye used all locally grown and fully biodegradable flowers. Years later, people still talk about how elegant they were. “Not often you really get 5* service but this is our experience over 3 jobs. Our main kitchen has over 30 units and 9 appliances. The design and layout was tricky but they got it right. The supply and installation was seamless and nothing was too much trouble. Our kitchen looks fantastic and is now, the social hub of our home. The quality of fixtures and fittings is excellent and the experience from start to finish was just great. Thanks to Gary and his team, we have a cracking kitchen to enjoy for years to come. “I know that there have been some issues with this pharmacy in the past. I have been using them for years and I’ve not been immune for the long waits for prescriptions. However, in the last few months there has been a drastic shift in the management of service and for the better. I’ve been getting my prescriptions within days of request. Today I needed an emergency prescription and it was sorted within half an hour. The staff throughout it all have always tried their best to be helpful and friendly - and this hasn’t always been reciprocated by customers. I have always found the staff to be largely pleasant, and I think it’s a shame that they’ve been abused (witnessed) by other patrons. Nothing in life is perfect and we would do well to recognise that.”
