“We tried A Star pizza this evening and it was great. You can tell they only use great quality ingredients, definitely the best pizza and the only place well be going from now on. Good price as well. The guys are so lovely too and made a fuss of my little boy. There's also the option to eat in if you want. Thank you!”

“Accidently today we have discovered that little gem. We were heading to take away that turned out to be shut down. My husband decided to give it a go and try out new place that took over and it was amazing. Very kind and polite staff (maybe owners not sure), food was absolutelly delicious, very presentable in take away trays. We have ordered few meals. I had korean spicy (very spicy) chicken with rice/kimchi/ 2 small pieces of sushi/ 2 crispy gyoza dumplings and 2 veg spring rolls. Portion was satisfying, it cost £9 or £9.50 ( worth every penny) none of the sauces were mixing or touching. It was full of different flavours. I honestly enjoyed my meal. My husband had katsu curry with chicken and same sides as i had. Chicken was deliciously crispy and sauce was wonderful. My mother in law had pad thai, portion was very big, and she enjoyed her meal until the last bite. We had also 2 different types of sushi. Can tell it was done fresh and very carefully. It was very presentable. I think tomorrow we will try other their meals. Very nice place with kind staff, i wish them the best and hope they keep up their high standard. We are glad we found this place.”

“I’ll start my review by saying that I’ve eaten at all the so called ‘best Indian Restaurants’ locally and to be fair there are a few good ones but often victims of their own success. However, in my opinion, Spice Bistro is up there amongst the best and from the meals I’ve eaten, it is by far the best Indian Restaurant around the Tameside and Glossop area. The meat they serve is so very tender, full of flavour and simply melts in your mouth and this is complimented by the curry sauces which have so much flavour they make you drool. The portion sizes are exceptional because they are thick and not full of oil or watery sauce and if you order a takeaway the foil container is full to the top. I can’t compliment the quality of the food enough…….it is that good. As a side note, the staff are incredibly polite, helpful and chatty but most important they are humble and respectful and this creates a happy vibe around the restaurant. If you have not eaten here before, believe me it will become your no. 1 go to restaurant for a curry. The cost of a curry from here is similar to a kebab from a takeaway and my only regret is that I haven’t eaten from here more often. The restaurant is not the biggest in the world but that’s a bonus as it allows the staff to look after their customers and give them an enjoyable experience. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough!”

“Lovely food, great atmosphere and it's doggy friendly which is perfect, the only thing we dint see was a car park, but we just parked up at Tesco and walked up like not even 5 minutes, so wasn't a big issue, definitely going their again when we come back to visit :)”

“The food was great, Borek for starters very nice and the POLLO REINA for main. The chicken was so tender with a smokey grilled taste under the creamy garlic white wine sauce. Even the peppers within the sauce were so tasty. My partner and I were so extremely blessed that they let us have the top floor to ourselves, which really made our night. Thanks to the owner and staff who let us be seated without booking. I will definitely recommend this restaurant, and I will definitely be back. Thank you, Casa de Casa. X”

“Amazing. Every time I’m in Manchester I come here. Food is always flavourful, curries and sauces are to die for and I’ve never been dissatisfied. Bread is the perfect texture and has a fantastic fermented flavour :) Price is just right for what you’re getting and the portions are great! Highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t tried Ethiopian or to anyone who’s looking for it in Manchester. Very very good eat Make sure you have an Ethiopian beer and a cinnamon tea at the end, it is really worth it!”

The lamb shoulder was super tender, the chicken was delicious as was the gravy made from scratch! Loved the sides. Tiramisu and rice pudding were the perfect two desserts to keep everyone happy! “The perfect match was a new place, recommended by our friends and it was a very pleasant surprise! The food was top notch, the wine pairings complimented the dishes impeccably, the service was perfect and the overall experience certainly worth the price. We chose the a la carte menu but we will be going back for the taster menu very soon. 2 starters, 2 mains with 2 side dishes, along with 2 desserts with their desert wine pairings went for around £70 pp which for the experience and quality was beyond worth it.”

Thank you so much for making my aunt's 90th birthday such a special one and kindly allowing us to bring our own cake which was brought to the table in perfect timing and then cut for us beautifully. A family favourite of ours! 'Adult family' favourite, I may add. I wouldn't say it was a 'young family restaurant' as such. More of an adult dining experience, especially perfect for special events. To me, it feels special without being pretentious. The staff have always been incredibly kind, friendly and helpful; wanting you to enjoy your time with them. Thank you again. “Indian Affair is hands down my favourite spot for Indian food in Chorlton - I come here regularly and always leave full & happy. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. My go-to order is Butter Chicken with their garlic naan and perfectly cooked pilau rice. The Lamb Nihari is another favourite - rich, tender and a great portion size! And if you love street food-style starters, the Samosa Chaat is a must-try. On top of the amazing food, the prices are really reasonable for the quality you get. Whether you’re dining in or getting a takeaway, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend checking this place out!”
