“I rang Steve when my daughter had hair extensions elsewhere and hadn’t continued with the proper aftercare. Her hair was extremely matted at the top of the extensions as she hadn’t brushed it and then the extensions had become matted together and she couldn’t style her hair. She was in tears - I called Steve and he got us in straight away - he sat and talked to us in detail about how to take them out and then spent his own time to sit and take them out, then made sure to go through every strand of hair making sure every bit of the matted hair was clear. He was so helpful and my daughter was so grateful. We are booked on to have them redone with Steve as he was very knowledgeable.”

“I had a wonderful experience at Adore Salon. It was dreary day which soon turned around when I was warmly greeted by Adeline and Spiro. My hair was washed with great care and then while having it trimmed I was offered a warm beverage which was greatly appreciated after being soaked from the rain outside. Then dried and styled, I am truly pleased with how my hair looks. Adeline listened to how I wanted it and checked to make sure I was happy each step of the way. “I don’t usually leave reviews however, this true act of kindness by the Salon Owner and her staff has meant the world to me and my daughters. I was hospitalised due to pneumonia, my daughter had braids in her hair from holiday and lots had fell out, she was devastated. My mum tried several hairdressers and finally went to Prestige. Jo and a colleague replaited my daughter’s hair immediately and even gave her replacement bobbles, when mum offered to pay they politely refused to accept anything. My daughters were upset that I wasn’t at home and this act of sheer kindness is beyond words. I actually am a customer of prestige however had not had extensions for some time (when I did they were amazing). However, the staff didn’t realise it was my daughter which is even more heartwarming thank you Jo and Team keep up the incredible work xx”

“Adam from South Manchester Heating did a superb job for us last week. This involved diagnosing and fixing the problem with our central heating. Adam called Worcester Bosch for us to explain the problem for them to come and check out the boiler (the next day!). Adam the replaced the pump and isolation valves (without draining the system!) and is also helping us sort out problems with our kitchen underfloor heating which has never worked properly. I have tried many other companies but trust the knowledgeable and experienced team at SMH to understand and sort the problems out. Highly recommended. Great job, thanks very much!”

“Great spot for always having at least one gluten free beer on tap, usually a couple. I'm a big fan of when they've got locals like Brightside. Generally a good atmosphere whenever I come. Sometimes a lot busier than others, probably event related as it's very close to a number of live venues. That said, I can often find a seat in the second, quieter room pictured below. I would appreciate GF food options, but I understand this is exceptionally difficult considering they do pizzas. The music is almost never particularly loud, which means you can always converse. The only setback would be that some of the beers can be pricey, but this is absolutely to be expected given they are quality craft beers rather than mass products, and I say this is one of the few spots where it's worth it”
