“Almost walked past the place and thankfully we didn't. Welcomed in and the staff who took order was very chilled and polite. Food was a very good portion and the nan bread was fresh the salad and sauce that also came was very tasty and really made the meal! The chicken was of high quality very soft and juicy deffo going back again. This is real food. Worth every penny.”

“Visited today to try steak and eggs. The best steak I’ve had in a very long time. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Melt in your mouth steak and the chimchuri was spot on. Husband enjoyed the orange juice, recommended from Jordan, and said the halal breakfast hit the spot without feeling too heavy. Apart from the excellent food, Jordan delivered exceptional customer service. He talked with a smile and looked after us from beginning to end. It was refreshing to see such great service.”

Free parking, free WiFi, and a bed so comfortable I nearly missed checkout – all at a price that’s hard to beat. The building may be older, but it’s clearly loved and cared for, and it shows. A special mention to Carla, who I spoke to in the morning – she was outstanding. Passionate about the local area and genuinely invested in guests having a great time, she’s a real asset to the business. If she worked at my company, it would be a better place. Any future visits to Manchester – this will be my go-to hotel.”

“My late father would buy mithai from the original branch next to Euston train station in London in the 1970s and bring it all the way home to Glasgow. When my brother was born in 1978, he had laddoo sent to Glasgow as well, such is the quality of their products. Ambala has a long tradition in this country and as far as me and my family are concerned, serves the best mithai by a country mile. It isn't too sweet and rich like competitors and the quality is consistent across all their branches. Manchester is our hometown now and this branch is our go-to for all things mithai related. Nowhere else comes close!!”

“My son and I were visiting Fletcher Moss for the first time, and didn't know where to go for food and drinks! Anyway, we decided to go Ye old cock! Well, it turned out to be the perfect choice. Beautiful clean pub with character. Great menu choices. Also, fantastic price deals..a meal and a premium drink each (we chose a Guinness, and a 250ml glass of wine) all for £10!! Great service too. “Nice atmosphere and good music. There’s quite a few shisha places on wimslow road but this is definitely the best one. Spent 16£ on the shisha and a drink. Shisha was smooth and flavour lasted a few hours. Would go again :)”

“So after this branch of Papa Johns kindly donated pizzas to the local primary school's festive movie night, i went to check them out. The pizza was delicious, piping hot, a lovely tomato base, with lots of fresh toppings. You can taste the difference. Il highly recommend these guys”

Best Indian Street food restaurant thi side of the Mersey. We recommand the Tuk Tuk, the lamb, the prawn and the chicken Main... Technically everything we tried so far is excellent...”
