“From the starters to the main dish, everything was absolutely perfect! The rib eye was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and full of flavour. Every bite was delicious, and the sides complemented the meal beautifully. The service was excellent too , Ihtsham, who served us, was an amazing host, friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“A great little bar with a good selection of changing beers on draught and an extensive selection of bottled beers which you can also drink in the bar with a small additional charge. There is some outside seating too. Well worth a visit if you are in Prestwich.”

“Great Macclesfield food. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Good range of options for those with different dietary requirements. The mint sauce for the beautifully cooked lamb was my favourite part - wish I could've taken a whole vat of the sauce home with me. Thanks.”

“First time here and it didnt disappoint! Great service and great food! Steak was cooked to perfection, corn ribs were yummy and the half rack of ribs were super tasty! Had a chocolate milkshake for dessert too! Overall good value for money! Car park gets a bit hectic at busy times but still seemed to be spaces available.”

“Our ”Tuesday club” went to birdandbeemcr today for the first time. They were 5 of us (usually 7) and we all opted for the bacon bun. Now this was not just any bacon bun - it was filled with crispy streaky bacon, with a cheesy, sumptuous little omelette on top - some of us had it on brioche & some on local sourdough. With pot of freshly brewed tea to go with it, it was delicious. One of us had a latte which was very professionally done too. They’ve only been open for a week but we’ll definitely to back to sample more great food. Sorry I didn’t take a pic but I’d finished it before I remembered!”

It’s the kind of place where you can relax and really enjoy your meal. “This was our first time here and it didn't disappoint. The welcome was warm & friendly, the service impeccable and the food was delicious. We were very hungry when we first arrived and left feeling very satisfied and happy with our whole experience. Our waitress, Katie, certainly deserves a mention as her smiley face and attentive service really made us feel welcome. I left my sunglasses there and got them back 5 days later. Would definitely recommend this place for so many reasons. We'll be back with other friends soon.”

“The tolly is a great traditional pub, large selection of drinks. Lovely setting on the canal, option to sit outside in pub garden, dog friendly and all round great pub”

“A classic CAMRA Heritage pub. I first visited in the autumn of 1974 so almost a 50 year anniversary visit. Albrecht came with us and loved the tiled interior. I had two pints of Joe Holts bitter. Loved it. They also had a guest beer, White Rat by Ossett brewery. This is a great community pub with 3 rooms around the bar. Join the discussion...is it egg & chips or is it chips and egg? Albrecht wants a return visit asap.”

“Stayed here with my partner and our dog. Loved the place. Room was big and spotlessly clean, breakfast was perfect and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Loved the pub downstairs. No food was being served other than breakfast when we stayed. We tried the Indian upstairs which was lovely and also ate at the bulls heads just up the road. We will be back.”

“We had a fantastic meal at the Ring O Bells last week. It was busy (being close to Christmas) but service was prompt and attentive. The good was fantastic and we had the surprise of a Choir singing carols for entertainment. Magical! Can’t wait to book in again soon.”

“Stayed in a nearby cottage and popped in here to watch the Rugby and have food and drinks. The lady behind the bar was fantastic brining us fresh drinks whenever we were running dry. They were on a reduced menu at the time for food but still enough to choose and was all good. Locals in the pub were all very nice too.”
