“Visited today, absolutely outstanding food. I had the chicken wrap which was so fresh and full of flavour, my husband had the lamb and beef wrap with extra spicy sauce and again it was full of flavour. We will definitely be returning - beat kebab wraps we have had ❤️”

“My partner booked Ela for a surprise date night! It was ‘nice’ .. I asked for olives while ordering my drink and was told no? Thought this was odd! But Nevermind! Order was olives, Saganaki (just tasted like very burned cheese) a trio of dips with hummus, a cheese pastry thing (can’t remember the name) mixed grill, Kleftiko - Wasn’t the best? Watery and flavourless (I had had it elsewhere and thought the same so maybe it just isn’t for me?) not sure I would recommend or go back! But I do know other people who really like it!”

“I asked Ali if he could cater for a family gathering I was having at home. I could not have been happier with the wonderful food that was made for us. Every single item was delicious. The lamb shoulder was super tender, the chicken was delicious as was the gravy made from scratch! Loved the sides. Tiramisu and rice pudding were the perfect two desserts to keep everyone happy! “We booked initially for 10 people but then added an extra 9. The restaurant were very accommodating and did everything to ensure we had the best night. We pre-ordered our food so everything was ready together - one of our party even said how great it was doing the pre-order so we could just enjoy our evening. We were celebrating a 50th birthday and were able to put up a banner and take balloons. The staff were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Now onto the food- which was delicious. All dishes were presented well and were very fresh and tasty - which is how I expect Mediterranean food to be. The mixed grill was cooked perfectly and from what the rest of the party said - their dishes were amazing too. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going back. Massive thanks to Mina who did a fantastic job of looking after us.”

“I just had to write a quick review for this place. Manchester based but well worth the travel. This was my first experience of Libyan foood and if this is anything to go by, I’m moving to Libya. Lamb soup, mini shwarma, Shakshuka, these amazing keema filled potatoes. It was all great. Spicier than I expected and reasonably priced. £11.50 for everything in the pics. It’s near whimmy road - so if you are in that part of town, give them a try. Zoroona”

“The staff at this cafe are incredibly polite and more than willing to cater to the customers' preferences. For instance, I requested a perfectly cooked bacon butty with the fat cut off, and they delivered flawlessly. Moreover, the cafe exudes a pleasant ambiance with its neat and well-organized interior, accompanied by a charming outside seating area. “We went for our Golden Girls xmas meal so just a small group of 4 now and it was lovely. We prebooked a Monday Evening 3 weeks in advance. We have usually only gone in the day time and the place is lovely and the staff are always very nice. They do the best coffee and we wanted tp try it at night as we hear its a different experience. So we decided this year although we are a smaller group now we would go there. It was lovely with all the lights and decor. It had a very nice friendly family, feel to it. I would highly recommend. They serve Nice food and the atmosphere is very welcoming and not intimidating which is what you want. We will continue to go there in the days for the fresh and well presented brunch foods and the best coffee locally but on special occasions they are also definitely good for an evening visit.”

SUPERSTAR. I have never read any review anyone who would extend themselves to this level of service. NO WORDS. Super cute lay out of furniture /tables/spacing between the tables. Such a nice vibe. Had the mixed meze. STUFFED Talking to KARIM he's planning to open up for brunch hrs 11-10pm.His dedication and his enthusiasm for his business to succeed doesn't go unnoticed. The food is always fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented, truly authentic Turkish cuisine done to perfection. As someone with celiac disease, finding a restaurant that can cater safely and confidently to my dietary needs is rare, but the team here went above and beyond. They were knowledgeable, careful, and made me feel completely at ease. I left with a full and very happy tummy, which says it all! The service is consistently 10 out of 10 warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. Now the food. This is where Turquoise flexes its muscles. Take the full English. It’s not a plate of sadness and regret it’s a proper spread. The sausages aren’t your usual limp Richmonds. No these beauties taste like they’ve just been pinched from a farmer who still sings to his livestock. I don’t even like sausages usually but these have that magic balance meaty juicy and full of intent. And if you fancy they’ll happily swap one out for a Turkish sausage which adds a little drama to the plate like inviting a flamenco dancer to your breakfast table. Their Mediterranean and Turkish dishes carry the same ethos generous but never sloppy bold but never brash. You can tell nothing’s rushed here. It all tastes fresh like someone actually cared as they stirred the pot. The staff are relaxed happy and with that ease that says “We’d rather be here than anywhere else.” They don’t hover like suspicious pigeons nor do they vanish when you need them they’re just right. And the value. Well it’s excellent. Other places might leave you nursing the sting of buyer’s remorse but here you walk away content your wallet intact and your taste buds gently applauding. Turquoise doesn’t just feed you it reminds you that food cooked with love and pride makes everything better. And if you’re lucky the sausages might even wink at you on the way out”

“We had a delicious lunch here. Their gyros are probably one of the best in town. The owner is friendly and happy to talk about what they serve. They use quality ingredients and you can easily tell their food tastes delicious and authentic. They have a fantastic meal deal where you can get a gyro, a drink and a cake for around a tenner. The place is nice, quiet and with some beautiful Greek decorations on the wall.”

“food - great and super tasteful and well cooked. we ordered some appetisers, the mixed grill and the mixed seafood grill/plate. it was realy good and we filled ourselves too much for dessert. that saffron rice was so good. service - good but can be sorta slow? the food came pretty quick and we didnt have to wait too long. drinks arrived after appetisers which was a little strange but oh wells. no complaints about the staff tho. atmosphere - really nice and pretty. they have a sort of balcony seating which is decorated beautifully. however there was a big group so the place was a little noisy but no fault of the restaurant. overall, really great place and food was amazing. will return again”
