The freshly made milkshakes go down a treat with my boy, the tea is spot on and the hot food is always tasty. There are lots of walks in the area so it's a great place to start or finish at.”

“The most beautiful nails I have ever got done. Gems stayed on no problems, when often they fell off after a week. Had to come back as my black color was changing to dark blue in the sun and they didn’t let me leave again until we were sure they don’t do that anymore, free of charge. Very quick service, clearly all staff know what they were doing. Can’t wait to go again for another artsy set!”

“Great to see the contemporary dance performance 'shed' by the Northern Rascals dance company at the Partington. Such a great performance dealing with timeless issues in a contemporary way in a performance which really spoke to me. Wonderful to have touring acts perform at this venue (let's bring more if we can!) as well as traditional theatre performances by the players.”

“A lovely little place that we visit every other Wednesday (unless Man Utd or City are on TV), where a gang of local musicians gather fortnightly to rehearse. The drinks are way cheaper than the pubs, and it's welcoming, comfortable, warm and friendly. If you're into snooker, there's a table upstairs too.”

“Just bought a pair of opal earrings to match a pendant bought as a Xmas present. Owners couldn't have been more helpful, really take their time in showing you options and letting you make your own mind up. Even had some new earring backs to ensure they can't be lost. Highly recommended, and will continue to use. Even witnessed the owner 'repair' a carriage clock that just needed the connections cleaning FOC, another shop would have easily charged for the same 'repair'”

“Such a warm welcome in a relaxing atmosphere for a wreath making masterclass with Anja & husband Chris in their lovely shop. Tea, coffee, mulled wine and spiced biscuits provided for refreshments along with beautiful, fresh aromatic foliage and natural decorations, something for everyone. Patient, helpful instruction from Anja, great knowledge of all her materials giving creative guidance to express yourself resulting in everyone producing unique beautiful Christmas wreathes. Walking home we were stopped on the High Street and asked " where did you get those beautiful wreathes from, " we said we had just made them at Norris Floristry. The lady said she would be sure to go. If you are looking for something of great quality, unusual with that personal touch then I would highly recommend Anja at Norris Floristry.”
